" I see," said the blind man to the deaf woman," It's all coming back to me now." as he peed into the wind.
When I make a map, I like to try and give it a back story, especially if it's an Infection map. Many of the "scenery" objects could make it all possible. Adding blood, dead bodies, and and other superficial objects would really make my maps complete.
I know they have their reasons, but I've never understood why Bungie didn't include some basic features in Forge. Don't get me wrong, Forge is revolutionary, but some things just seem essential. For example, the "undo" and "clear" buttons are pretty basic, even Microsoft Paint has things like that! And I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally picked up the wrong object just to screw the whole part of the map I'd been working on.
In the future, I'd like to see just additions to Forge, not subtractions. For Forge, you shouldn't worry about "fair and unfair" when it's a user created map. So just relax, and add some "unfair" things like invulnerability, mounted missile pods and Anti-Air Wraiths!
I know how Bungie loves to dazzle us with super secret projects, so make "PROJECT: SECRET SUPER FORGE" your next, well, secret project with enough "WOW!" to blow the pants, and other extremities, off of us!
I'm just trying to offer some constructive criticism! But Bungie, you are still the best game developer I know so don't fret! Thanks again for making such great games!
