Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

I think that they should get rid of the entrails because its unrealistic to me. The magnum rifle in real life leaves a ripple efect in the air but not an entrail. Its also distracting to me as a sniper to shoot with it. Throws off my leading skills

They can't. Cause then it would be an overbalanced weapon and be like the pistol in Halo.

i totally agree with you there. If it didn't have a trail you would never know where the sniper is

The M6D was just fine in SP, but could use a tiny bit of toning down in MP.

I don't know if you have to re-zoom it or not. I don't think so otherwise we'd hear about that more so. I'm just saying that there is a little bit of a kick.

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

I believe Wra7h about the kick of the weapon. The sniper rifle is supposed to have more kick this time around, forcing people to go for headshots more often, and forcing people to have a certain level of skill. I'm not sure about the bolt action part, or the reticle, but it would be interesting to see how some players would adjust.

GOD, its hard enough to aim with the sniper rifle AS IS. They dont need to make it HARDER. And sniping is 100% SKILL, dude.

hello all me myself on my opinion of the sniper rifle it shud stay tha way it is except move just abit and for the guy who said something about those headshots um were they far away as in u can barely c there faces (VISORS SORRY) or were they in medium rang (ex. in blood gultch shooting from from one base to a portal) cuz in long rang sometimes its so close that it just passes ur face its hapened to me before also in halo one i think theres something wierd going on about two snipers shooting eachother cuz my friends insist they shot me and i always (as usuall whoops them in sniping) shoot them just before they shoot me(cool trick i learnt from online play when u c them turn and look in one wayin ur direction for more then 2 second and they have a pistol or sniper rifle that means there locking in on u this is 70% of the time rite and when u shoot them u count ((when they look your way)) to 2 and just when u count to two u shoot them and the get a round off too but heres the kicker the trail of the shot goes rite throught your head its really cool cuz it makes them so pissed and so mad it makes them try harder and they also make more mistakes good intimidating trick.... and so yea) that might of hapened

NO!!! If they made the sniper move around while you aimed with it, I would be pissed, never using a sniper again. And I'm going to have to stress this point again. Spartans are genetically enhanced, and can lift a few TONS. Not being able to hold up a rifle would be un-acceptable. Probably my favorite thing about Halo was the the crosshair always stays where you left it, on any gun. Halo DEPENDED on skill to win. Shaky crosshairs involve luck. I'm sorry, but once a game becomes too realistic, it's on the shelf for me. There is a fine line between realism and fun. Sure, it would be more "realistic", but would you be thinking to yourself "Wow, i'm so glad the cross-hair shakes while i'm trying to snipe! It's so fun!" No, you wouldn't. Or like the person who wanted flashbang grenades. Have you ever played Counter-Strike? I stopped playing that game because of flashbang abuse, it went to the point where I thought there should be a button to cover your eyes. You could get blinded even if you looked away in time. Sure, S.W.A.T. people may use flashbangs, it adds "realism", but the fun is than devoured, and crapped out into a pile of big brown crap. So remember, Fun > Realism 100%, all the time.

END OF RANT!!!!!! haha.
