Call of duty-You feel like you depend on your teammates and they depend on you, intense battles too.

Battlefield 1942-huge maps with many vehicles, and i DO mean HUGE and MANY.

Half life 2-more phisics and destructable objects

That's all i have for now

Everytime you play a game, that knowledge is embedded into your head. Right when I played BF1942 for the first time, I remembered the great vehicle combat. I hope they take a tip from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and include in-game ranks. That is an awesome feature.

wtf are you guys complaining about? do u want halo 2 to be just another FPS like all those games you named? Halo was an epic origional, and halo 2 will be even more unique. So shut the hell up with your "halo 2 should be like this" and start becoming a halo fan. You suck.

Give me a break. Yeah, you obsess over a video game like a cult, and that's fine. You do your thing, I'll do mine, but don't give other people trouble because they don't worship a computer program the same way you do. I love Halo, but if you say that it could not have been improved, then you have a very weak imagination.

If you read the Bungie Updates, you would see that Bungie revers the gaming community with the upmost respect. Many games that they would wish to play are not on the Xbox, therefore you can tell that they have respect towards other developers and their ability to create games for end users.

Bungie, formost, has always revered the aspects of gameplay that invigorate us every time we play games. They have time, and time again, have jumped into Slipstream with their imaginations, and their innovations and have created gameplay that is art work at least.

If all you have is hope, then do not plant the seeds of doubt within your mind. Hope can only be usefull for those who believe in the inherent power of luck, or lack thereof. I have conviction, that the artists at Bungie are the BEST people to make Halo 2. And I therefore, accept their creation, and addition to the Halo story line as the BEST that could be made.

Hope, is not a replacement for trust.

well said man, when asked about half life 2, bungie said they were eager to play it. bungie gets gameplay concepts from movies also. It wouldn't surprise me if they have play call of duty and intergrated some ideas from that game into halo 2, they learn from others campanies' mistakes and learn too.

Dude the game is called halo and it stands its ground.. It seems like all those games should learn from halo because halo beats out all of those games in my opinion, and it wouldnt be the same if it went around copying ideas from other games

Unlike the original Halo where regardless of weapon size the melee attack was the exact same across the board, Halo 2 will utilize weapon statistics to realisticly effect armour according to physics. Also with the addition of Covenant Plasma sword, they have added a melee only weapon.

One thing that Bungie has ALWAYS had, was that they want you to strive for excellence, but do not punish you for your shortcommings. That has been the most transient feature of games created by Bungie.

Another aspect towards knife fighting...

Take a steel plate, take one of your mom's hundred dollar german knives...try getting through the steel plate. Now take into consider that in the Halo universe they have Grade A titanium as well as shields...and well...obviousely a knife is fairly futile in its attempt to injure a spartan. The plasma sword is definetly a more useful weapon.

Yeah Halo IS in its own leage, of course there are things that everyone can learn from, but Halo is doing just fine on it's own.

Call of Duty was a amazing game and completly original just cause it's not named Halo doesn't mean it sucks infact it builds on what Halo did great for it's time with more feeling of large scale war instead of a one man army so quit being a freaking fanboy. BF1942 I dont care about as much it had some moments but the SP sucked and online people were idiots or there was lag. halo is still my favorite game ever but still I enjoy more than one game and wish some features from those games made it into Halo 2 (like proximity voice was used in Counter Strike on the Xbox for example)

Hitting someone with a heavy weight actually transfers the momentum to them. A knife cannot transfer momentum as well as a blunt object. For example, take a needle and run into a wall pointing towards the wall. Examine the damage caused by the needle, being well aware that the crushed sheetrock above is the result of your head slamming violently against the wall.

Now take something such as a shovel, and run into the wall with it. Note that your head did not hit the wall. Interesting huh?

I make complete sense to you mainly because after slamming into the wall the first time, you got a concussion. Please send your checks or money orders to....
