any peace deal is unlikely IMO - fighting between enemy forces eg flood and covies is a sure thing (MC is going to a new ringworld - so Flood should be there) but I don't think bungie will make it any easier on us by half our opposition

Is it part of there religon to die out. The covenant fear the flood as u can see from halo 1. I think it is because their plasma weapons are less effective. It would make sense to make an alliance to defeat an unstoppable enemy. We don't even know what the covenant really plan to accomplish by wiping out the human race(at leas i dont).

Plus that would be cool, Covenant+Human vs. Flood+Robots(or machines, or AI)

neat idea

It wasn't a brain disease, it was something else but I can't remember and I can't look to my book for reference because I lent it to my friend. Though I'll tell you that he got that certain anti-flood disease because of exposure to plasma. The Flood weren't able to infect his nervous system.

Sgt. Johnson got his nervous system all screwed up when he used a whole crate of plasma grenades he found in a battle againsst the Covies. Becasue of this, the flood were unable to infect him, so he lived to see another day.

about the humans joining forces with the covenant. That is the single most stoopidest idea I have ever heard. First of all the covenant wouldn't even have to land on any of the rings they could glass them over from space. Have u even read the books. The covenant have conquered other planets and Earth has not been that diificult for them. Anything that enters there solar system larger than a cm gets decimated if it does not enter a proper response. I wouldn't doubt it if they had billions of soldiers (estimating). (at least before mc detonated the unyielding heirophant). And the brutes are now taking the spot light for the covenant and I'm sure those big gorillas will/would have no problem dispatching flood forms. (I'd hate to see an infected brute with a flood inside it). They would never team up. That would be like George bush and osama bin laden having brunch. Its never gonna happen.

hah yeah, but the thing is, what about the Forerunners... the builders of Halo what if they come back? i have a theory that they are Human ancestors or something... and the thing is, flood wont stop infecting. theres no way to kill it all. say ,,, Ethiopia all the sudden came out with a weapon that could kill the earth, and they didnt care if they died either and were going to detonate it, you better believe Bush and Osama, and Kim Jong, and Castro, and ALL the leaders in the world would join, allys or not, nuetral or not, just to kill little ethiopia with a potential world destroying weapon... its like that. they will join if forced. obviously its up to bungie tho

Sgt. Johnson has Boren's syndrom. A neat little neuralogical disease that makes it so that you don't have a specific neural tag. Great for about 3 years and then you have a horrible death.
