Archos, the download should be 170MB by the time it is done (178,262,016 bytes to be more exact). If it is corrupt or incomplete, download a new version.
There may be something else going on. Here's a few ideas off the top of my head.
I've run into instances where the install program takes up to ten seconds to start under Windows XP. I've also run into instances where the install window will appear behind another open window (probably due to user error, but still worth checking). Double check the task bar/minimize other applications/alt-tab to see if there are any install windows appearing where they shouldn't be. Also, check the task manager to see if a process like "halocesetup_en_1.00.exe" is running. Also, ensure that you have security clearance to install applications on this machine.
See if any of those pointers lead you in the right direction.
