It means he hasn't had the pleasure of seeing my original masterpiece.
Yours was good, and definitely one of the better movie renditions. However, aside from a very small face on Van Helsing and the type treatment, there isn't really much else to it. I'm sure the type took some time and the face probably took a bit, however, because its so small and such low resolution, we can't really see all the detail and work that must have gone into it. I personally prefer the pictures that were created from scratch without using anything as a canvas to work on. I know its tough to do a movie cover from scratch, but there were a few movie covers I've seen that incorporated Halo into the background or other touches like giving them a much more interesting look rather than taking Frankie's face and putting it on a cover. Mine is quite a bit different than anyone else's I've seen by taking the Meth: Not Even Once campaign (NotEvenOnce.com = great ad campaign by the way!) and creating an ad with Frankie's likeness of course. I tried to incorporate some elements of my own design style into the motivational ad and give it a totally unique look. So yes, its based on an existing ad, but its all my own conceptualization other than the logo I slapped on there. Is mine funny? No. Is it entertaining? Somewhat. Is it disturbing? Comparing this to the original picture, absolutely. Just some food for thought.
