“...and the game didn't come out like they wanted.”
Members of many teams producing video games have the same feeling about the games they create for a multitude of reasons. In some cases, bug lists depress programmers or some content did not make it in, all due to time constraints for putting out a major game. Many game makers have felt the pressure of getting a game put out within a certain amount of time. This means that many game makers have left games ‘incomplete’ and ‘unpolished.’ In fact, find any group of game makers that thought the game they created was complete, polished, and free of errors.
Halo 2 provides an excellent example of a well-polished game. For example, how many times has campaign froze on you? How many times have you encountered grammar errors in campaign? Maybe those that want to criticize Halo 2 ought to polish the criticisms before posting. Do you know that the average word processor comes with a grammar check? In Microsoft Word 2003, push <F7> to initiate a grammar check and proceed to fix errors. Then, copy and paste the polished writing into the post.
Why not give specific examples of what you mean by overrated.
