I just have some things to say! I must release my anger:

1.PS2, Now more popular than air and food.
2.Whats the point of breathing when your just going to breath out again. Why make this post when it will die out sometime. Why make your bed when your just gong to mess it up tonight. Why get live when your going to die.
3.If it weren't for electricity we'd all be watching television by candlelight.

I rest my case.

Yes, there does seem little point to breathing, and indeed, any of the 7 life processes. But that's just how we've evolved.

PS2, Now more popular than air and food.
O....K.....?

Whats the point of breathing when your just going to breath out again.
What you breath out is not the same as what you breath in.

Why make this post when it will die out sometime.
That is what I was thinking.

Why make your bed when your just gong to mess it up tonight.
So your bedroom looks nice. You never know when company will show up and want to look at the house.

Why get live when your going to die.
Why ask why?

If it weren't for electricity we'd all be watching television by candlelight.
If a tree falls and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

If you went back in time to kill your grandfather(please bear with me) what would happen?

A. The gun or whatever would suddenly screw up, because it was never ment to be?

B. You would vanish, forever changing history but if this was the case, how did you come to be? O_o

C. You would succesfully kill him, forever changing history in THAT timeline but you will still exist because you have already been born but thus changed the timeline creating a different timeline that now exists because your grandfather is dead but you are still alive because he never died in your timeline but you killed him in another thus creating a new timeline! You still with me?

Ahhh, paradoxes!

Have you seen "The Time Machine" (2002) with Guy Pearce? His fiance was murdered and then he had the bright idea to make a time machine to go back and save her. Whenever he went back and saved her, she died in a different matter. Now, this guy was smart and everything, but he didn't realize that it was her death that made him build the time machine. Therefore, he could never go back and save her because then he would have never made the time machine to go back and save her.

In other words, you would not be able to kill your grandfather.

...or could he?

what if everytime time he killed her, he created a new timeline, made it split off. Like so

--------------|
--------------|
--------------|
murder-----|\
--------------|-\
--------------|--\
--------------|---\
--you--------|----\ you aren't born in this timeline

This wouldn't affect you, so if you went back to were you came from, it would be like nothing ever happened. your father will still his retain his memories of his father as you would of your grandfather, even though you just killed him! You just created a seperate timeline.

This bring something else up, what if you were still born! Only from a different mother and a different father? What if you were supposed to go back in time, say changing an outcome of a war, and it being in books. You were supposed to do it, but you never thought twice about it. Now what if you didn't do it? What would the outcome be? My brain hurts O_o

EDIT:just fixed my example, it turned out ugly.

Always remember what Grandpa Simpson told Homer on his wedding day: "If you ever go back in time, don't touch anything."

What you are talking about is parallel universes. This would mean that there are an infinite amount of universes where things happen differently. There could be one universe where Germany won WWII and everyone now speaks German.

Well, since we decided to take a couple of tangents, here is another one: How can our universe be infinite and expanding? If our universe is not truly infinite, what is beyond it? Other universes that are currently contracting rather than expanding?

Just remember, everything is made up of vibrating strings.

EDIT: Also, a butterfly flaps it's wings in New York and creates a tornado in Texas a week later. ITS ALL CHAOS!!!!

lol, it is chaos.

At the end of the universe is the end of time itself or where time has meet it's limits. So, without the passage of time happining, what IS going on out there? It could be Heaven out there or...it could be nothing. That's right absolutly nothing. Or it could be the beginning, showing the universe is infinite only by starting over again. But then, when did the universe begin?

How?

At the end could possibly be the beginning of another universe, another dimension? An infinite amount of beginnings and ends? It is just a never end circle, IT NEVER ENDS!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!! but it never begins either.....mwahahahahaha

...it could be nothing. That's right absolutly nothing.
How can there be nothing? How can something have nothing? You know, early civilizations never used the number 0, because they didn't know how to express nothing of something.

The history of the number zero:
The numeral or digit zero is used in numeral systems where the position of a digit signifies its value. Successive positions of digits have higher values, so the digit zero is used to skip a position and give appropriate value to the preceding and following digits.

By the mid second millennium BC, Babylonians had a sophisticated sexagesimal positional numeral system. The lack of a positional value (or zero) was indicated by a space between sexagesimal numerals. By 300 BC a punctuation symbol (two slanted wedges) was co-opted as a placeholder in the same Babylonian system.

The Ancient Greeks were unsure about the status of zero as a number: they asked themselves "how can 'nothing' be something?", leading to interesting philosophical and, by the Medieval period, religous arguments about the nature and existence of zero and the vacuum. The paradoxes of Zeno of Elea depend in large part on the uncertain interpretation of zero.

By 130 Ptolemy, influenced by Hipparchus and the Babylonians, had begun to use a symbol for zero (a small circle with a long overbar) within a sexagesimal system otherwise using alphabetic Greek numerals. Because it was used alone, not as just a placeholder, this Hellenistic zero was the first true zero in the Old World. In later Byzantine manuscripts of his Syntaxis Mathematica (Almagest), the Hellenistic zero had morphed into the Greek letter omicron (usually meaning 70).

But the late Olmec had already begun to use a true zero (a shell glyph) several centuries before Ptolemy in the New World (possibly by the fourth century BC but certainly by 40 BC), which became an integral part of Maya numerals. Another true zero was used in tables alongside Roman numerals by 525 (first known use by Dionysius Exiguus), but as a word, nulla meaning nothing, not as a symbol. When division produced zero as a remainder, nihil, also meaning nothing, was used. These medieval zeros were used by all future computists (calculators of Easter). An isolated use of their initial, N, was used in a table of Roman numerals by Bede or a colleague about 725, a true zero symbol.

The first decimal zero was introduced by Indian mathematicians about 300. An early study of the zero by Brahmagupta dates to 628. By this time it was already known in Cambodia, and it later spread to China and the Islamic world, from where it reached Europe in the 12th century.

The word zero (as well as cipher) comes from Arabic sifr, meaning "empty".

I think I have gone on enough tangents for one day.

No DMB fan... Red Dwarf... They killed the guy who shot JFK, so then they stopped him going into the room and dying causing him to miss... they went forward to see what happened, and the world was in ruins... They end up recruiting JFK himself to perform the assassination... He shoots from the grassy knoll, kills himself and disappears...

Tristan ;-)

This can go several ways, one is Jack Ruby was never ment to do it and so JFK becomes his own killer. But that still doesn't change the fact Jack exists, once again the timeline theory is the only the goes into play here UNLESS...... brace yourself

Jack Ruby gets a time machine of his own, goes into the future, sees himself get killed or whatever, sees the problem, then kills JFK and then proceeds killing, well, JFK. Then he gets killed/caught but the other is dead/whatever and that is the Jack Ruby we see now. Makes sense doesn't it?
