When i try to go into Halo 2 Xbox live, i go through the menus like profiles and pick my gamertag, then it tries to connect but then it comes up with this message:
You have an important message from Xbox-Live. Would you like to go to account managment in the Xbox Dashboard?
- Start account managment
- Continue offline

When i click Start account management it goes to account managment with things like memberships, contact info and windows live ID, no where to get a message, then i press back and it restarts Halo 2 again and it keeps happening.
Anyone know what i should do?

Are you trying to do it on an account that has possibly expired?
And you also cannot play halo 2 if you have not downloaded the free multiplayer map packs.
I recommend just going to the dashboard and reading the message, not the account management.

it has not expired, i used my friend's disk with all the new maps on it to download them, but i'll try download them on the marketplace later, and i have no messages anywhere.

If it has expired then you don't need to click on a gt when signing in, just click on a profile and then don't sign in to xbox live. Then you will just be able to do campaign or regular multiplayer. I recommend halo 2 on live because it is really fun.

I'm not sure what you need to do, but that happened to me once and now it doesn't.
