Ok, so I was thinking of a beautiful setting in a... HOLY CRAP!!!! I just heard on the radio something about a 4-year-old who snuck out in his mom's (I think) car! He went to the video store, and it was closed, then he hit two cars on the way back until he was finally stopped. (obviously he couldn't reach the pedals, so he was moving veeeeery slowly.) That's wacky! Anyway, as I was saying; a beautiful setting in the mountains. I am in a valley with a lake and a forest of pine trees. In the summer, it stays around 70 or 80 degrees, and the winter around 10 or 20 (on average). Where (in the U.S.) would be the best place to find this setting?

I thought about it. The U.S. sucks. We're all a bunch of self-centered, materialistic, ego-centric idiots. But that's beside the point.

By the way, this applies to us in general, not each and every one of us.

-blam!- that we can't see how to live anymore. We've got our heads so far up our asses we can watch ourselves chew!

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

This is probably getting too political.
In a shameless attempt to advertise my group, you can discuss politics my chapter.

Edit- Yep, this is definitely getting too political.

The Uintahs here in Utah almost perfectly fit that description.

Since I live in California I'm not going to be bias, but Colorado is an awesome place. The mountains, lakes and forests there are beautiful.
