over time the lack of information released to the public on halo 2's gameplay- mainly viewing the E3 demo and playing the final product of halo 2- and what halo 2 turned out to be, has lead to many disappointed fans of halo. I myself, am one of them. the E3 demo showed off these features but did not implement them: melee attack combos, a semi-automatic battle rifle, a faster firing gauss warthog- though not to much dissapointment, the turret fired slower in the full version of halo 2-, a ghost that didnt need a booster, phantoms that carried a crew- not just a gunner,1 or 2 ghosts, and a pilot-, some brute weaponry, the ability to switch in between at least 3 weapons- (while in the final product you can carry 3 weapons, you CANT switch between them, you have to drop one of them, then you have to switch to your other weapon.), and even though im leaving out a bit more i cant think of, the BIGGEST dissapointment is that the level from the E3 demo was never there. i mean, sure they TRIED to make it look spectacular and amazing. but THAT is what the E3 demo was. and i think they tried too hard. i dunno about you, but they should have kept the battle rifle as a semi-automatic, and gave the carbine the 3-round burst.
now then, my question to you is this: would you pay $50 for the E3 demo?
