The truly ridiculous thing was that it was forwarded to me by a friend, who had it forwarded to him. In fact, the list of people who had received this was longer than the e-mail itself. When will people learn that e-mail like this are never true?

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

That's funny. I wonder how many people are eagerly awaiting their money.

I honestly don't get the point of these e-mails. The only reason (that I suspect) for sending one out is to fool unsuspecting masses.

They feel special when everyone sends around their disguised chain letter. They think:
"Wow, I just pissed off 3 million people. This is the biggest accomplishment of my life."

Why do people spam bungie.net?

Because people react to the spammers like the spammers are actually affecting them.

I've gotten that before. man, I'm not believing someone who claims to be an attourney, if they can't even spell 'attourney'! Bill Gates isn't giving anything away. He's a greedy nerd who owns a crappy company who screws people out of money. it's just... sick.
