Le Mediocrity. It's fun when we win, and funny when we lose!

The Zanzibar forum as of late, well I guess most of the forums, tend to freeze up for 15-30 minutes at a time, sometimes more. Sometimes, I'm not aware of this, and I create a new thread, but by the time it actually appears on the forum, it's already buried at the bottom of page 3.

Is it wrong to "bump" that post up or to just re-write it again?

Not that I have anything important to say, but sometimes, I feel like I do have something I'd like to throw out to the community, and can spend 5-10 minutes writing it up, only to have it disappear immediately.

Any thoughts?

I'm new to the Septagon, but it seems like a great and helpful forum.

Yes, it is wrong. We don't allow bumping.

Keep in mind that if you cannot immediately see your thread on the forums, it may be because your cache hasn't updated to include your thread in the listing. I suggest that, after clicking Submit, you bookmark the thread you've started and check back on it later.

I know, I'm more terrified than ever.

I seem to have more invisible posts than ever, and I hear that PMs sometimes aren't being received. Is this something to do with having a lot more members on the site?
