I've been on this page once before. After I got hacked the first time. I've been hacked again and now I'm just waiting to get my account back from Xbox.com.

I wish I would've done the things on here when I got hacked about 3-4 days ago.

You could also make a secondary email, then switch emails every thirty days so the hacker cant change the email, works for meh! then all you have to do )if you get hacked, simply sign in to your email your not using(after you linked accounts) and swith to the OTHER email account and change the password! Works for meh, but you have to have TWO Windows Live emails and they MUSY be linked or this wont work!

Good Job with this topic! But note that even if you do not give out your info, some people still have ways of hacking. Those people will also be wise enough to change not the password but the email on the account, change the account name, basically change everything about the account, then get rid of credit card when they are done.(may take a few hours, so cancel your credit card right away if possible)

1.) Very quickly
2.) No, it is rumored that if you have a account that does not have any updates for halo (aka silver offline) then you can get recon on campaign by going through legendary with all skulls turned on. But this is a rumor.

What do you mean stupid enough? It could happen to anyone. Even if you don't give out your account or your email, it's still possible. Heck, being in an Xbox Live party with a hacker that has advanced knowledge can put you at risk.

i know how to get hack safe lets say u get hacked and u lose ur account on ur next account u need 2 emails when ur making ur new account put in 1 email and say ur a kid like 10 then it will say u need a guardian to help u to sign in u use ur ohter email as ur guadian then u make an account so u use the guardians email on ur xbox but on ur laptop u use the ohter email so if anyone hacks ur laptop they will only see ur email but not the guardians email so they cant hack ur account and just to prove it i used my email yo log in to bungie.net but i use the guardian email for my xbox

if i thought i was about to be hacked, what should i do?

theres two people i know who want to hack my account, and im kind of worried.

and is there any way to report them? i know one of them hacks and can get MS points.

and @ the guy above me, if i have parental controls with an email and pssword, would that prevent them from hacking my account?

and if i made a new Windows live acc and transferred my GT to that one, would that work to prevent spyware?

Well the thing is, if you make an alternative account on your original account, that can still be seen, and if you have the same password, it can be accessed. And if you don't, that does not matter, they can go to Social Networking sites and just "forget password" and get a link to view the password. They can also revert if your email is @hotmail or @live.

So its all about using good services such as gmail which is secure, or id.ru etc etc

If the person changes everything, you can do a revert attack yourself. Its a featured link that was created by MS where you answer questions, and if you get a small majority of them right, you get your password sent to any email you select (this is good if you don't have an alt email or if they changed the alt email).
