By the way Thank you Bungie. It is a well known through out the society of the educated that you must as a publisher be careful before obeying an outspoken minority (complainers).
I do not agree that it requires education to ignore an outspoken minority. In fact it requires the complete opposite.
The outspoken minority are often those that have the courage to say that they have been wronged in some way and are in fact carrying the flag for many (perhaps even a majority) who do not post their discontent.
Those who often say that they have been satisfied only do so to justify the money, time, or dedication they placed into an endeavour before it fell flat. It is called cognitive dissonance.
While I do enjoy both games for their own merits (esp'.halo 2's expanded storyline), I do not in any way agree with the "stick my head in the ground and wiat till it all goes away" approach that you are endorsing by a company that only survives due to consumer input.
Once the numbers are in there is no way to tell if the individuals who purchased a product are indeed placated. All that determines the popularity of a game at outset is the accumulated dollar value.
Once again, I like halo, but your justifications for Bungie ignoring a minority in no way come from someone more educated than those who feel wronged.
Everyone has a voice, and if they don't, forums are not a place for discussion, but rather a place to ARTIFICIALLY INFLATE THE POSITIVE over the negative. All we become is a load of "yes-men" agreeing only because everyone else does.
You have no right to call somone with their own sense of right and wrong "uneducated."
Stop sucking Bungies dick, and get some real opinions.
