If you look at the Halo screenshots, many are outside the normal 1st person view. Insted, they are in front of the Master Cheif, behind him, and far away behind an enemy. So how do you do that or was that just a feature in the test version?

Maybe they took the screenshots when in co-op mode. Took the picture from the 2nd player's view. But no, you can only play Halo and Halo 2 in first-person mode.

Bungie uses software that creates a scene and then they save the file onto the computer....

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Alot of those shots arnt even fom the game itself, just computer made. Thats how they look so much better.

I remember asking this question, and having it unanswered a couple months ago, and to my convienance, it was answered shortly after that. Bungie had been interviewed or something like that either on here or TeamXbox.com and the answer was that the xbox was hooked up to a component and computer. It gives the xbox the ability to freeze the game, movie the camera wherever you want, as long as it isnt out of the game matrix, and take a picture. So if you wanted to take a picture of your warthog being blown up by 30 grenades, you can stop the game when it blows, move the camera and take the picture.

Where would you download those programs, and how would you link up an Xbox to a computer?

I dont believe you can just download the programs, and with this component that probably is very high in dollars on the market, has the ability to link your xbox and computer together. I wish I could help you out more with that.
