I do not think people are focusing on the right questions. We all know it will be possible to hi-jack vehicles, but how, exactly, will this all work?
I am guessing it will not be the easiest thing to do. You obviously will have to approach from the right angle. Maybe you will have to hit X or something to hop on to the vehicle, and from there you proceed to do a rock-paper-scissors type game with the driver. B would beat out A, A beats X, X wins over B. If, by chance, both the driver and the hi-jacker hit the same button then maybe it will turn into some sort of mashing fest, i.e. which player can hit the buttons the fastest. If you fail to hi-jack the vehicle, then you will most likely get thrown off of it and die.
This is all just speculation as to how it would work. The game wouldn't be very fun if your vehicle was constantly getting hi-jacked. At the same time, the more you can predict the actions of your enemy, the better you shall become at commandeering vehicles. I suspect that the boost feature of the ghost and banshee will be an added defense against getting hi-jacked.
How do you think the hi-jacking technique will work in multiplayer, if at all?
