Random note:
It's spelled "kamikaze".
"Kaze" is Japanese for wind, so I don't know if kamikazi would translate out to anything.
Kami is Japanese for God, while as you said, Kaze is wind.
Kamikaze most commonly translates to "divine wind", though more literally, it can mean "God-wind", "god speed", "light wind", "spirit-wind" or "divinity-wind".
