Um, not to rain on your parade of happiness, but all you did was run through the levels, you need to kill more than 50 units a game to call it "beat".

Who says? Please point out to us the "Official Rules of Halo 3 Campaign".

Any n00b can run through a level, takes a real player to actually eliminate all enemies.

Really? I'd like to see you do it.

I don't like Campaign, that is why I do not have all the skulls, I have played Campaign so much I know where everything is, all about everything, too much times. Gets boring.

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

Okay, I just beat floodgate, I may try Halo tonight if I'm not busy.

Nice job!!!

Rember to practice your hammer jumps on a lesser difficulty. I actually grenade jumped then meleed one of the Stalkers scaling the tower to regain my shields, but both work the same way. And as long as you have the drive down, the final segment should be a breeze.

I need to practice the jumps a little more, but mainly the drive. I beat floodgate on my first try. Took me 43 mins. though. I didnt kill many folks.

Heres the game: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsCampaignHalo3.aspx?gamei d=50388725&player=RCTSon

Nice work!!!

Halo is a fairly simple one. It shouldn't give you too much trouble. To be on the safe side, at the beginning of the level, you might want to let Arbiter take care of all the Flood forces on ground level. Hide behind the rocks just to the right of the cave exit. Even if you here Gravemind talking through the Flood "There you are!" it doesn't mean they'll come for you.

I play SLASO muted as to not be distracted by the sound of imminent death. I can manage to do the jumps with flood about, I have been trying halo for like the past three days, but keep dying in the drive. I got the jumps down 80%, so I think thats good enough. I need to master the drive. Halo is very simple. To ensure I live I bring a bubble sheild to the spark battle, steal johnsons splazer early so spark doesn't kill me while I'm getting it, and for the battle up to the hog I get a rocket and fuel rod. I have everything up to the drive down.

Word to the wise. Keep the sound on so to better tell which weapon you're holding and which grenade type you're packing. You can also hear your shields go up when you melee.

I always know which weapon I have. I make sure I pick up the right one, and look at my shadow to make sure I have it. I have the guide and basically have the weapon layout in campaign memorized. This is probably a chicken move which will haunt me, but I don't melee much. Only if I know I'm not in danger.

So I can know what I'm getting into whenever I attempt certain levels,

Could you list the levels in hardest to easiest order, or vice versa?

Be happy to :-) Easiest from top to bottom:

1) Floodgate
2) Halo
3) The Storm
4) Cortana
5) The Covenant
6) Sierra 117
7) Crow's Nest
8) Tsavo Highway
9) The Ark

Many people who attempt this make the mistake of trying Sierra 117 first. This level is much better to go through once you've gotten more used to the SLASO setting. You can almost run through the first two on the list.

Hey great job Tyrant!

"Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds."

Thanks! I just looked at Crow's Nest and I am now wondering how you ever completed the are with all the drones? I mean just a few plasma shots would lower your shields completely and you can't melee them to get your shields back.

I was fortunate on this one. Apparently mythic works not only on your foes but also your allies. They ended up doing most of the work. Going into it, I was worried as well. Save those plasma pistols for the Brute Motor Pool battle!

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

You are VERY VERY good to be able to do this.

I wonder if you'll get recon or something.

Impressive job, man. I've done Floodgate. Tried Sierra 117 and Halo and didn't get anywhere. I know about the hammer jump, but the concept of just running through a level really doesn't sit well with me. Probably dooms me to failure on SLASO. Oh well...

But what makes The Ark so hard? I can't think of any one part that really sucks...

The first half of the level can be a bit over whelming since you are rather illequipt. Sniper rounds have barely any effect on a fully shielded Brute (I save them for getting the gunner from the Wraiths), and you're low on useful ammo. The Hunters on SLASO are also a force to be wreckoned with. It took me a few tries to figure that out. Once you get to the part where the Dawn deploys tanks, it gets much easier. But that first half took me forever to figure out a decent strategy.

And nice job with Floodgate!

I always figured that I would just assassinate the sleeping grunts and immediately switch the sniper for dual PP (dual for ammo), then retreat and let the brutes come to me. I guess I've never really tried fighting a hunter with the tilt skull on (I know they take 5 or 6 sticks with only mythic). When I play the level ordinarily, I snap off the three plasma turrets and take them to the part with the first hunters. Do they even do anything LASO?

Also, any tips for The Storm? There's two parts (first two tanks, scarab) that are pretty tough without any skulls.
