Oh for sure. That level drove me to suicide.

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

Best Regards,
The Tyrant

Me as well, but you should be ready at this point. You've getten most of the tough ones out of the way already.

And yeah we told you Floodgate would be a cakewalk :-)

At least you are a well seasoned Mythic apprentice at this point. It certainly helps to have learned your anti-Covenant skills early on.

Just don't study Pahat Pojat's 40min run. You won't learn much :)

Yeah, I guess =)

The Floodgate run was inspired by Pahat Pojat's run. Just wanted to say it.

I'm gonna try to get The Ark out of my way then =) Your walkthrough will help me anyway if I can't do it until then.

EDIT: Haha, that Pahat Pojat likes to.......rush.

Indeed, but the rest of us learned them on our 3rd or 4th level...and the Ark was still a pain when we did it last (or second to last, for me).

Part IV is up, albeit it in two separate parts. Accursed character limit.

It won't be out until next month, just to give you a heads up. But practice without Blind and Iron to get a feel for it.

He means from the rally point following the Scarab battle. Since it's the end of the mission, it's the last place you want to make any mistakes.

Not bad :-) Like I said, you started your training early, so you should be fairly well seasoned at this point. Didn't realize they were working so well that people could start skipping ahead XD

After The Ark you can almost celebrate your success. Just watch my 30 min The Covenant run and you'll learn some tricks that might help you a lot.

Personally, I'm not a fan of kamikaze runs in any way. If you have to rush, it only hurts you more when you get to a situation you can't rush. Besides...how many times out of 10 does the kamikaze run on the Ark work?

Most of the time. Yes, freak accidents do happen, but they do on the S&S runs too. What it comes down to as style. What works for Pahat may not work for me and vise versa. Same applies with you. No biggie. It's just some people have a different campaign mentality than others. That's why I tend to include both variations of the major battles in my walkthrough :-)

Everything works for Pahat. I'm surprised he hasn't done The Storm in 15mins yet or something like that.

Maybe according to the stats, but how many times does he die in the process to achieve those times? I'm sure there's a lot of trial & error and even more luck involved in many of his runs.

True. I've been trying my Tsavo Highway trick aswell. And 5/20 tries I get through. Only to die in the next area. I'm still working on a tactic to get through the second area with minimal damage.

I can drive straight through the first area with only taking 1/2 Plasma Pistol hits. But the second area I get bombarded with Brute Shots, Snipers, and Shades. So I'm working on a tactic for that area.
