I never use the pistol, probably why I had a hard time. I swithced it out for the noob combo and ran out of br ammom quick. It was the br on the side in the begining. So, get pistol and br and take out grunts, then use the Plasma Pistol on the brutes?
I do know about that door, found out a few weeks back. I thought it was just scripted until I found out.
Whats your strategy for the first are with the AA wrait, wraith and the 6 ghosts?
Your primary opposition here comes from the Ghosts and the Wraith at the far side of the lake bed. First, you'll want to travel along the left hand side and kill the small group of Grunts and single Brute running to the corner. Then use the hog to help you take out the Covenant in and around that center shed. That area will be your best place to set up camp. From there, use the windows to either BR or snipe the Grunts from the Ghosts. Trying to deal with them in the hog is a bad idea. While against snipers, driving with the passenger side facing them may work, but when facing Ghosts when those plasma bolts hit the vehicle you also take damage.
When going up against a mortar wraith, have a bubble shield handy. When you get within range of the secondary gunner, drop the shield and the wraith will start coming towards you. Board the back of it destroy it just enough to kill the two Brutes. Don't use it just yet though. You don't want to tango Wraith on Wraith against the Anti-Air. Instead, sneak around behind the AA wraith, board it from the back (to avoid the gunner) and destroy it. Then use the mortar wraith to kill the immediate enemies just beyond the door.
The key here is not to rush.
