Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

And Halo 2 Mythic is, the true Mythic? ^^

As far as I know, the only way to play Halo 2 on Mythic is to go through the game once, collect all the skulls, then go through it a second time with all of them activated. But I'm not even sure if that works exactly. In short, they aren't selectable in the Halo 2 main menu, so it's pretty difficult to even get to a position where you can play with them all on, if that's even possible, through the entire campaign.

I remember when me and my big brother found the Halo 2 blind skull. We didn't know how to turn it of (if you can do that) so we had to start a whole new profile, for when we wanted to play campaign :( Anyways, I'm going to start doing SLASO as well, when I get my xbox back in a few days. BTW Muzza, you said you might become the youngest person ever to complete SLASO. I'm 14. You?

That's part of the issue with Halo 2 Mythic. I have no clue how the skulls work, how to turn them on and off, if they can all be used from start to finish, etc. Too much trouble for something that most people wouldn't believe anyway. Besides, Halo 2 is moddable by the masses. Halo 3 has yet to reach that barrier. Let's hope it stays that way.

The Halo 2 skulls were added in very late apparently. Also they only work for a short while, if you switch your Xbox off after finding one I think you are unable to use it ever again (unless you make a new profile). The skulls in Halo 2 were a bit retarded basically :p.

I don't know how old he is. But, I was thinking. I'm the first person in the UK to beat Mythic. Feels strange, the first person out of a WHOLE country.

I was #5 in the World. #2 in Europe. #1 in UK. Not bad.
Top 10 in World is amazing. Just think. 10 People, out of over 3 Billion People. I cannot wait for Mythic on H3:R. I'm going to rush and beat it as fast as I can.
More people have Re*** than have beaten Mythic.

I'm aiming to get in the top 10 (if I'm correct there are now 8 "officially")

Race?

We need to set a few rules though if you do.
#1) Only start Mythic when both people are ready, e.g. Player has all the Skulls and is ready to start. No secret headstarts.
#2) Once started, you can play when the other is offline.

Sound fair?
Any more rules to add?

Oh for sure.
We should give Pahat a challenge of 2 weeks to beat H3:R on Mythic.

Seven days rather. I'm sure that will put a smile on the face of Bungie ;-)

We need to know how many missions there are first. And how hard they are. Imagine 15 Missions. Each are harder than The Ark. I'd cry.

You were first for Halo 3. Now the question is... will you be the first in H3:R? Game on, Pahat! :-)

To my knowledge, yes, you would be the youngest.

What level should I do after Floodgate and Halo?

What level should I do after Floodgate and Halo?

You have your pick between Cortana and the Storm.

Cortana
Pros:
Flood level

Cons:
Ranged Forms tend to be annoying, more so than any other level

The Storm
Pros:
Uh...it's about as difficult as Cortana, but you're fighting the Covenant.

Cons:
The Marines tend to be a significant cause of your deaths.

Speaking of Cortana, I just did a check on HBO. It is not up yet.

My Halo 3 disc can't load the Storm so it will have to be Cortana and I think I'll keep trying Sierra 117 as well.
