I have a challenge for you crazy ass SLASO people who have now beaten SLASO, and are, once again, out of ideas.

Halo:CE Legendary, Halo 2, Legendary, all skulls, Halo 3, Mythic, you die once, you're back on the Pillar of Autumn.

The whole trilogy is like a level.

BE the MC, he doesn't die in the trilogy so why should you?

*shivers* Halo 2 legendary all skulls on is crazy I can barely get through it with Thunderstorm on and everytime you turn your Xbox off the skulls aren't on anymore so you would have to get the skulls again just to activate them which is hassle if the skull is at the end of the level. *shivers to death*

to jew man I meant the wraith achievement.

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

That first battle on Gravemind can be quite a challenge. I've heard it referred to as the "Belly of the Beast" battle of Halo 2. For those of you who don't recall, that was the first major battle aboard the Truth & Reconciliation from the first game. Hardest battle in the game on Legendary.

Oh yea! i remember that one now, died sop many tiems on that, just waves and waves of them coming out of the doors, and if you were prepared to take them out from one door, they'd come out the opposite, i was stuck on that for a day or two (not non-stop playing lol)

EDIT: Nice recon u got there tyrant :)

The Legendary H2 walkthrough on HBO taught me how to jump up into the "bleachers" and stockpile weapons. Carbines and Needlers worked absolute wonders. I would have never figured that out if it hadn't been for Mike Miller. Thanks Mike! :-)

Ha! I told you that you would get it. Tyrant, do I have to complete The Covenant to be in it or do I have to just do a couple more. I've recently been getting some time off so I've been working on Mythic.

Five levels total. If you have Floodgate and Halo already under your belt, then you only need to worry about three. The easiest ones are The Storm, Cortana, and Tsavo Highway. At least those would be my recommendations. By the way, that was one heck of a job you guys did in Skirmish tonight. An impressive display of teamwork.

And Starocean, it was good to see you finally back on again! :-)

How did all that go? Sorry I didn't get a chance to jump in with you guys last night. Had to practice with some guys for a local tournament tomorrow. 1st place team gets a prize of $400. Some good pocket change for xmas presents. Wish me luck!

I propose we get some crazy social action going on Wednesday?

EDIT:
Oh, and while we're on the topic, I definitely called him getting the armor back on like the 100th page or so. Good job though Tyrant, you deserve it.

Halo 3 Mythic Conqueror #11
ODST Mythic Conqueror #2
Reach Mythic Conqueror #2
Halo: CEA Mythic Conqueror #1
Halo 4 Mythic Conqueror #1

Congrats on all the success with Mythic, Tyrant, I'm going to attempt one soon in the near future too (if I get my act in gear that is). I've also decided to do a Halo 2 SEASO, (Legendary + invisible everything + snipers = too damn hard XD) mainly cause I can go through it without dieing in one hit from a sniper I didn't have a clue about and I can hone my skills and maybe, just maybe, one day attempt a Mythic on Halo 2. So anyway, wish me luck etc etc, and I'll report back with how good or bad I go. On a downside however, I don't have a video recorder so no vids for it (damn lack of fileshare in Halo 2).

Halo 2 Mythic? Wow. lol. Yes, I'd dread the snipers and the Drones if I were you. Just thinking about some of those missions with the Assassins Skull on gives me the shivers.

And best of luck with your tournament, Shadow! Yes, Wednesday sounds good. My last night to play before the surgery so let's play til our fingers bleed XD

Last night was pretty awesome. We stomped out the competition in Skirmish, and I even got MVP for the first time in a while. The end of the world is truly upon us. lol.

I would've hoped on to Halo 3 when you invited me, but I had some friends who were on Fable II (they just got it recently) and I was feeling charitable. Lol.

Congratulations on the early Recon.

I can see that someone has recon now ;)
U deserved it.
btw I'm going to beat the whole campaign slaso now so excuse me :P

Awesome. You know where to go if you need any tips :-)

Most valuable piece of advice? Start with Floodgate. It's a very simple level and will help to get you adjusted.

Steam

Tyrant, did you see my "Wraith Challenge" video?
Also, Badd0g360, start with Floodgate then hit up Halo. I'd reccomend you follow this order;
Floodgate -> Halo -> Cortana -> The Storm -> Tsavo Highway -> Sierra 117 -> The Covenant -> Crow's Nest and finally The Ark.

Thanks. Hopefully things will turn out well. There's no prize for second place, so it's win all or nothing! We think we've got it down though. I'll let you know how it went.

What's this about surgery? Do you need to get some awesomeness removed? :D
But whatever it is, I hope it goes well. At least you're not getting your thumbs amputated. That would be a gamer's worst nightmare. But then I guess you could always play mythic on a DDR dance pad... Although something tells me it may prove to be somewhat of a challenge... :).

The right hand actually, so it may be a little while before I can play again depending on how it goes, but I'm hoping for the best and that they can fix the issue permanently this time. It's Johns Hopkins, so my hopes are high :-)

Keep me posted on your competition. I checked out the stats of your teammates and it appears that you've got a lot going for your team. It's times like this that I long for a live spectator mode :-)

Well I hope you feel better soon. You need to take me through Ark :P. I've been blasted back to the beginning so much that I've nearly lost hope.

And thanks. Hopefully we'll do well. Yeah, they're pretty good. We lost our 4th around febuary, and we've just had people popping in and out of our 4th person position. Right now we're using a buddy we hang out with. We've been trying to teach him all we can, but there was only a certain amount of time before the tournament. So we tried to fill him in on the basics, such as callouts, our team setups, strategies, etc. So we'll see how it all goes. He still has problems with random chatter when we need to keep focus. Nothing annoys me more than when I'm trying to give some callouts, and he's sitting there yelling and complaining about how he shouldn't have just died... blah whatever.

Here's our team lineup-

SHADOWSTRIKE1 (The loveable one)
hellfire omega
Call Me 7ravis (this is the guy who WAS going to help out that night we recorded)
Darkcolossus51 (our rookie)

By the looks of last night, we should do well, but we played alot of our games last night against this same team, and we had a terrible connection with them the whole time... so that kinda put a dampener on our practice...

I've been nervous today, so instead, I've been working on writing a script for an upcomming secret project sure to make heads spin.
