it's a secret. At least for the moment =P

If it's anything like what you can do with Johnson on Halo, it means you would kill the Arbiter before initiating the bridge.

That sounds about right. The screen shot appears to be near the light bridge.

On that note, would this work on other levels too? Like Sierra 117, Floodgate, or the Ark?

We could be on to something here!

Well, those are both special triggers...there isn't anything like it on Sierra 117 or Floodgate.

Activating the cartographer on the Ark may work.

I'm debating whether to go and continue trying Tsavo Highway again or switch off to Sierra 117. I suppose I'll just stick with Tsavo.

In-Game Lessons
Mythic Conqueror of Halo 3 (#16) & Reach (#14)
Onyx Top 1% - #6 in the world (S4), #9 (S5)
Given Recon by Bungie June, 2009.

Q. Only our enemies need to be frightened, Daniel. Anything you would like to add? Wanna make a shout-out?

A. A special shout out goes to all my friends and supporters in the community who have gone vastly out of their way to make the Mythic experience better for everyone. Louis Wu, VincentKurayama, Pohat Pojat, Ur Television, SonicJohn, DarkDevastat10n, Shadowstrike, KrypticKiller, Gazas, and my brother K@os stand out in particular for making the Mythic experience better for everyone. Thank you guys for all your continuous help and support. And thank you, Bungie!

And I thought I was nothing more than a love slave :)

Nice job on the interview. I have no idea how people manage to sound to professional in those things... But you did a really great job :).

Well, my box is back Friday, might I suggest a grand night full of social madness to commemorate the occasion? All the usuals, of course, plus whoever else is cool?

Wow. I just saw something I had never seen before. Here's a brief overview of what played out.

The Master Chief pursues a Chopper, tossing a Plasma Grenade and sticking the back of it as it begins to turn. The grenade explodes, and the Brute driving it is forced out, his armor destroyed. "Take one of these!" he shouts, Spike Grenade in hand. The Master Chief mimics the act, preparing to throw a Spike Grenade when, to his surprise, the Brute hops back on to the Chopper, still holding his Spike Grenade and managing to get stuck by the Chief's.

I'll be in Richmond with the fam for the next two weekends, but any time after that I'm good.

I'll be home most of the day Tuesday and early x-mas eve though :-)

Damn. That Warthog on Halo hates me, the sentinels flipped it and it splattered me, I was approaching the end too.
Anyone got any tips for driving the last run other than "go, go, go!"?

Be sure to follow the path in my video since the same tiles collapse every time. Also, be sure to avoid ramps whenever possible. When you have no choice, take them slow to reduce your air time. Yes, the Sentinel beam's "push" effect is frighteningly powerful against the Warthog.

Well, i just checked youtube and here's what I found.

Two Arbiters:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtfSZw1-zSM

And apparently it's also possible to get three arbiters:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkly-NUqdTU

So yeah, it would be cool to be able to do something like this on some other levels :-).

EDIT: I just noticed at the end of the video for two arbiters you see Spark use his deathray. I've never seen him do that other than on Halo when he's shooting you...

After you get the tanks on the Ark, try TKing a few Marines on Legendary. Oh you'll see it alright, and it's not pretty.

It looks like the easiest way is to find a point where the arbiter would usually leave and come back later but stop him from leaving. I don't know if that happens in any of the other levels. (Crow's Nest?)

Finished Halo, thinking about doing Cortana next in order to get all the Flood missions out of the way. Thanks for the guide, it's a great help.

I knew you could do it :-)

"Lord Hood? We made it."
"Music to my ears, Commander."

Tsavo Highway on Mythic, sans Plasma Pistol, completed.

That's two out of six Covenant based missions defeated without the Plasma Pistol for me.

I even managed to beat my original time.

The last group of enemies always takes me a while. Lol. The rest should hopefully be entertaining. I'm glad it was on a run where I actually kill off the first Chieftain relatively fast.

Edit: Yeah. I spend about twenty minutes on the last battle. It only took me about twenty five to make it to that point.

I'm pretty good at improvising. I only need to change up my tactics for a few fights on some levels. Crow's Nest will be the level where almost all of the battles will play out entirely different. The Ark...well, up until getting vehicles and after entering the Cartographer building...that's where I'll have to find a solution.

The Covenant should be relatively easy. Plenty of Carbine ammo, Beam Rifles, all sorts of goodies to use if needed.

Sierra 117? Meh. I've had less trouble there than on Tsavo Highway because Tsavo was mainly about chance deaths that were out of my hands.

I have thought up another medal, I just haven't figured out a name for it yet.

I've never attempted it, but wouldn't the level Halo on the Mythic difficulty be easier if you completed it with a ghost instead of a hog?
