After that I worked out that using the Wraith to bomb the next room then headshotting any remaining Grunts and Jackals before moving to spam grenades at the Chieftain and his cronies causes them to get annoyed and actually come down for a fight; suffice to say Wraith>Brutes.
Next I began teaching myself how to fight a Scarab; it pretty much involves "blast the back off with missile pods then when that's gone keep firing until it gets annoyed." after that a quick Sniper Round to the core brought it down.
Then I retrieved my Rocket Launcher from the top of the crane and handed it over to the Arbiter while I brought a Missile Pod along just in case I needed some more firepower.
Arbiter tore his way through all the Brutes in the warehouse so I triggered the Hunters to enter the fray, they did and were met by a lot of explosives which brought them down quickly.
Then I had a problem: Arbiter started staring at a wall and I couldn't budge him so I had to fight the next battle solo only to find out that my Plasma Pistol was empty... I pretty much improvised by using dropped Carbines, my BR and the Sniper Rifle found in the office to kill as many Grunts and Jackals as possible so as to force the Brutes back, amazingly it worked and Arbiter teleported to my side and proceeded to go crazy on the Brutes again.
And finally at the AA Gun things got rosy too, Arbiter misfired a Rocket and destroyed the Turret. So I killed the Grunts and Jackals again to force the Brutes back, thankfully it worked and I grabbed the Sniper Rifle and used it to weaken the core, unfortunately I ran out of ammo and had to finish with my Plasma Pistol.
Anyway, I know this is long and probably boring but I'm just pointing out what I've learned which is: Arbiter acts dumb at the worst times, and that I now know how to deal with each section of the mission.
Hopefully I'll be onto Tsavo Highway soon.
Heh heh...yeah. When the Chieftain loses all his pals he'll leave the safety of his room to fight. It's funny when you have the turret in the room still working and a Warthog parked outside of his range. Two turrets vs. Chieftain = win.
Then again, I've also BRed him to death like I would a Hammer Chieftain. And like you said for the Scarab...Missile Pod the back until it's destroyed, hopefully before it actually gets turned around, and then go to the right side. Wait for it to fire twice, then hop back down to the lakebed so you have a perfect shot at the back while it walking away.
