Stay on topic, don't come here just to be the 7000th poster.

I'll probably give the Baracks a try on kamikaze. Can I use the vents or should I do it without them? =)

They're part of the barracks, so by all means, feel free.

Last night I was trying out the Sierra 117 trick. The jump can be a little tricky, and if you are on the wrong part of the rock prior to the first jump, you might trigger the Brute to speak, which makes the Grunts come out and...well, usually they'll notice you walking around up there and attempt to grenade spam you to death.

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

Presuming the person I'm bringing is actually competent enough, it could be possible for us to beat it by then.

I sure hope so. If we can get started in February, then that gives us roughly three months. I hope we can do it.

I guess I could make it two ways, one over and one under.

It can be hard to pull of. The trick is crouch the whole time. Also, it skips out the original fight, thus causing the other Phantoms to not trigger because the first fight hasn't been engaged yet. You have to pull of the jump before the Marines arrive, because they will trigger the fight. Also, like Vince said. You have to be careful from which part of the rock you jump from.

Alright, I'm now going to watch jew man man's Sierra 117 clip and then maybe try The Storm again. After that would anyone be up for some Social Team DLC?

Since I haven't been around my Xbox much lately, I'd really like to see a youtube video of this.

You need to see it, it's simply amazing. Also it gives Pahat another excuse to speed run something so Sierra 117 will probably be beaten in previously unthinkable times because of this. You might as well start the mission at the Grunt camp.
There's also no need to borrow Johnson's BR because of the rack of Carbines overlooking the camp.

All in all it's a sweet discovery by jew man man.

Okay, so now we've got a Sierra 117 trick and an Ark trick. I wonder who will discover a crafty trick to skip/sequence break a part of a level next?

Try sending it to Vince. He can usually upload his own stuff without an trouble. Vince, do you think you could upload jew man's video to YouTube?

If Gamevee is down, then there isn't much I can do, since I don't have a capture card.

Edit: Jew man, you could try uploading it using eathalo.com.

If you would use me to play every weekend or every two weeks, we would still be done by now XD

Just kidding.

You might actually be right. But we also would have to deal with a fourth person.

So, I'm thinking through the Campaign missions...wouldn't it be awesome if we had a "trick" for each level?

I was actually also thinking this. I'll do some more exploration on Sierra 117 on Wednesday and again over the weekend.

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

I might try and find some tricks on normal. My brothers friend showed him a trick for the ark on the last battle my bro said you just have to keep 1 brute alive and you just have to keep running around and eventually the brute will die. This got me wondering if it will work with the chieftan and if so then what about the chieftan in the motor pool?

I just gave it a shot today and I finished Floodgate, its on my fileshare. It took me forevery and many tries but I have no idea how you can do the Covenent SLASO it would be like jumping off a 10 floor building onto a trampoline. = ) Im proud of myself though.
