The Wraith by the two Prowlers? I don't know much about it since I haven't had much problems with it. Fortunetaly I know a good way to kill it, specially for the guy who out BR'd me every time (you).

This is good if you don't rely on your Laser for the rest of the level. Simply laser off the hatch of it and snipe the pilot. 3 successful shots will kill him. If you leave the Ghosts beside you alone, they shouldn't come after you so don't drag any attention to them.

Yeah...about that, I'm a crap sniper, even more so under the influence of the Blind Skull lol. I did try it but I missed every time and I'm not low enough to stick a marker on my screen.

I think I'll practice sans the Iron skull for a while until I work out when it overshoots.

Oh and Gazas? Would you be up for some multi-Mythic at about 11am PST (Bungie. net time) tomorrow? And thanks for the compliment, I didn't think my BR was much more than average.

EDIT: I'll contribute at least 500 kills to the 10 billion tomorrow.

Sure thing, tomorrow sounds good.

About this marker thing, I would say keep the TV clean from that dirt. Practice a lot with blind though.

It's a strange world when you waste an Invincibility because you'd rather a Deployable Cover after you've forgotten your much needed Hammer. That somes up my Crow's Nest run. Here It Is. Not sure If you checked out Baddog's video awhile back, but he showed a pretty sweet trick for the landing pad. It's what I used and I got through with minimum effort!

You've done Crow's Nest as well now? Geez man, can't you give me a break when it comes to Mythic? You're right on my tail at every turn. Looks like we both need just The Covenant now, and I can only practice in the afternoon for about 3 or so hours. I don't know how much free time you get, but you have an advantage over me by the looks of it.

Everything is interesting if you go into it deeply enough.

I was at a friends house, and for fun, I suggested we try some Multi-Mythic, on Floodgate. He'd never tried Mythic, so I was expecting trouble.

Turned out it was pretty bad, and we decided just to play through, and not restart after deaths. I have to say, it definitely made my respect for the difficulty of Multi go way up. A lot of deaths were either him or me swording each other in the back, getting split up, not communicating etc.

Communication and planning are indeed important factors when doing Multi-Mythic. Fortunately, Vince and I knew Floodgate pretty well, so I was able to mute the screen and still be okay with it. Cortana though? Not the case. Missions like that are far too random to not give your full undivided attention.

Yes, it is tough, but I admit it has been more fun playing it with someone else rather than solo.

Also, I've heard the right mix of Pizza Rolls and Mountain Dew does the trick.

Actually, I mainly go with water. Roughly 75% of the human body is water as well as a good portion of the brain. It helps you think.

I generally don't eat or drink during Mythic, except for weekends when a glass of smoothie and some chocolate seem to make me play better.

Ahh, but as we all know, the Covenant survive on Mountain Dew. That's what those tanks on their backs are full of. So, the logical way to deal with the situation is to drink so much Mountain Dew that you blend in with their society, and then take them out from inside.

Ahh. Painkillers made me play so much better. I played a tooon of Halo after I had my wisdom teeth out, while on them, and I was so relaxed and calm. I'm going to laugh when MLG events have drug tests.

I've decided that the most frustrating ways to die are:

1. Suicide
2. Marine shenanigans
3. The enemy.

Of course suicides that are a direct result of marines, count double. I failed at the scarab, again, back to back. I honestly believe marines would be more useful if armed with nerf guns, and had no other use then to distract...

Haha, I'm in the complete opposite position that you guys are in right now. I've done the Covenant, the Ark, and Tsavo highway on mythic. I'm currently trying to do the Storm, marines are being a real pain. My main overall causes of death seems to be those rocket marines not keeping their rockets to themselves, or marines nading the hell out of whatever I am trying to melee to recharge my health. Not spotting the last nade-happy grunt is also a problem.

After the storm I will have to tackle the levels that I dread most- Sierra 117 and Crows Nest. I'll admit I'm a bit of a vehicle noob. I love the infinite ammo and long range that they give me to just whittle away enemies from afar. Without such an advantage, I'm not sure how I'm ever going to make it through these levels. Cortana, Halo and Floodgate don't concern me near as much. If Bungie wanted the flood to be a threat, they should've kept the rocket flood from Halo 1 and 2. Those were effective

I just stayed waaay the hell away from them on the cliff where the hornets land, and hid behind a rock until they were distracted. After hitting 1 back leg until it is a shot or two from breaking, wait for it to turn around. After that just shoot the weak leg, then shoot the back off and kill it. It may take 2 or 3 takedowns to kill each. Just watch out for any banshees flying absoloutely straight at you. I got taken out a few times by those. Also, make sure you have a battle rifle for the fuel rod grunts in the next part. You can always kill one of the marines left on your tank and take his Br if you don't have one.

I'll keep this tactic in mind. I should probably start by finding this cliff of which you speak. From there, I'm sure I'll be able to find the tank. I can't believe I never tried this approach to the level...

Nice gamertag by the way.

Due to some sort of current team breakdown (possibly at any rate) Gazas and I tried a bit of mutli Mythic tonight and sped through Floodgate in 5:34 before having some shenanigans on The Covenant (the marine on the side of my Hornet lasered Gazas). It was all fun though and we're probably set to finish The Covenant tomorrow.

Give you a break? Um... No... Lol. As consolation how about a one day respite that's already used up? And yeah, I have a bit more free time than you by the looks of things.
Crow's Nest was pretty simple. It only took about 3-4 tries with 2-3 practice runs. I would've had It done a day sooner but I decided to take a break after learning that meleeing grenades does, infact, set them off.

We do pretty well.

Just try not to rush Ghosts anymore. =) Those were the only things that killed us. And friendly Lasers but let's count that out.

My Banshee highjack was fun though.

just a quick tip that i thought might help, if the reflective side of the disk has scratches and they're causing the problem a small amount of Brasso on a cleaning cloth will remove most of em. rub it in, then wipe it off with a clean cloth and if necessary give it a wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Ive use this on loads of disks before and its worked wonders. be very careful not to get any on the other side tho as it may take off the protective layer on that side wich you dont want to happen.
before you do it tho, test a tiny bit on the clear bit in the centre. i had one very cheap disk get kind of cloudy. its very unlikely to happen but its better to test it on a useless part first.

Maybe, but he still seems to the king of the rest of the levels.
