Midnight, I watched the video and your death was pure win...for the Grunt unfortunately.
Your method for the Prowlers seems to be working but isn't that the 1.0 method?
It's similar, but I usually take out the passengers first, and then the gunners.
As for the rockets, I was thinking that if you could predict where the Prowler was going to end up, you could shoot off a rocket ahead of time (just like the Plasma Pistol) and destroy it before they even got off.
Possible? Plausible?
Haha yeah I was going to see how far I could get, and I was like oh free sheilds. The grunt apparently had other plans....
My method is very similar to the 1.0, but the changes do have a dramatic impact on the overall speed with which you can complete the area. Overall, though, I would have to say that Gazas' is the better method because it doesn't rely nearly as much on improvisation, and my method can be, either extremely fast and fluent, or as slow as 1.0 based on the luck of the draw.
I'll leave it down to your final testing, Tyrant, to determine the better, but from early observation I would say Gazas' is much more consistent. That is, of course, barring some randomality that may occur when you are hiding behind that rock.
ROCKETS: Regarding taking out the prowlers early, there may be a soft spot on the bottom of each prowler. In Legendary, I would always wait right near the pelican for the prowlers to jump over me. Their angle of attack prevents the gunners from shooting at you and allows you a free shot at either the front or bottom of the vehicle. Maybe it does more damage if you shoot it in one of those spots?
The only real dangers are being sure you won't be too close to the initial explosion and having to dodge the flying debris. I'll test later.
Thanks Midnight! :-)
