hey tyrant i just want to inform you that you should Make it clear to the player tha if they were ban at anytime in their career that they will not get recon on the Summer Recon Challenge, because i did the recon challenge not knowing that i wouldn't win the challenge because i was ban so i thought that was going to get anything out of that time i put in the challenge, but i im glad that i found slaso. Thats all i wanted to tell you. Thank you for your time.
I just found this little bundle of joy in my inbox. I'll be nice and protect the identity of the sender, but here's an example of someone who doesn't know how to read the rules despite the constant reminders. Do NOT be like this kid!
Um, I am not trying to make you mad or anything, but why do you assume everyone is a kid? It just doesn't make any sense what-so-ever. There are people out there that aren't kids (including me, and from what it seems like you too) who play Halo 3, and they might want to take a run at SLASO. And at least he was nice enough to say "Thank you for your time", and that shows some sense of maturity. Now, again, i don't want to make you mad, but I just find it weird that you think everyone is a kid...You assumed earlier that i was an "idiot" "lazy a$$" and "full of myself" (Those are the exact words and you might still believe them) when you don't even know me or that guy that sent that message. Now I do respect that you protected his identity, but I think you have to protect a person's identity who sent you a PM in the forums, and the guy who sent the message didn't read the rules (ain't going to protect him on that)....So, sorry if this made you mad or anything of the sort, but I just wanted to give my two cents on the subject.
Thanks, or Sorry,
-JTuck-
Nope, but if you know me, then you know there's one thing I can't stand and that's a lack of common sense. Now, had this been a mere question rather than a direct accusation, I probably would have just deleted it and left it at that (as I do in most cases).
Why do I jump on people for not reading the rules? I can't tell you how many times we've flashed the link in both threads and on the b.net homepage. Does it not make sense that before you participate in a difficult challenge that it's best to know everything that's involved?
Oh, well I am not trying to say that it isn't right for jumping on people for not reading the rules, that is a good thing in my opinion...It keeps them on their toes :-) And yes you should know everything about the competition before participating...But I wasn't getting at that, I was just wondering why you called him a kid that is all.
