Hello, Community!
Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!
Best Regards,
The Tyrant

Hey everyone, i did not have Internet this summer so i decided to go for a mythic champion spot. I have completed all but Cortana. (it should be done soon)
The reason i am posting is because i have been looking for a rule on whether or not my runs will count(all but 2 were done offline).
The rules say that scoring needs to be turned on. i have scoring on, but the scores wont be on bungie.net because i played offline. The scores do show up at the end of the videos, but the scores only show the gold skulls.(you have to watch the video for proof of the silver skulls)
So i was hoping someone could give me a definitive yes or no, possibly linking me to an official rule or quote of Tyrant's.
Ps. if tyrant reads this i just want to say thanks for the 1.0 and 2.0 guides.Rule #4. Sorry, but you need to have them completed online for them to count. It's a bit difficult to prove that the cowbell skull is on. But at least there is an upside. You know you can beat Mythic and you've got some good practice in.
Those are the rules for the recon contest, they also say:

1) The missions must be completed within the time frame alloted for each challenge. No sooner. No later.
I think the only reason he wants the runs to be online for the recon contest is because of the massive number of submissions he will be receiving each week. I just want my name on the Mythic Conquerors list. i don't care about recon.
No, the reason we set the parameters the way we have is to keep people from getting a spot on that list they didn't deserve by somehow cheating the system.
If people want to be on the list, they need to submit absolute proof of their accomplishments (i.e. accurate history of the games + game stats linked to their file share).
If people want to play Mythic offline for their own content, by all means I won't try to stop them. I encourage people to challenge themselves. However, if they want to be recognized by the community as a Mythic Conqueror and stand with the rest of us, then like everyone else on that list, we need definitive proof that you were actually able to succeed. I'm sure you can understand why your word alone won't cut it.
Oh i understand i need proof i would upload my videos to my fileshare when i go back to school this fall. would that still count? or would i have to redo all the maps when i have access to Internet again?
also thank you for taking time to answer my questions.
You would need to do them online. Saved films alone don't tell the whole story. There are many things like certain skulls, scoring, and actual difficulty setting that can't be judged by watching a saved film. However, speaking from experience, if you've done it once already, you shouldn't have a problem doing it again. I myself have beaten the entire campaign on Mythic 4 times. Nearly five. And once on Multi-Mythic as well with my good buddy Vince. If I can do it, so can you.
