when you no longer fear the thought of death or failure, it seems to loosen a player up
ALOT when trying to tackle this endeavor.
I don't fear failing. But I HATE when I fail because of some stupid mistake on my part. Like... getting stuck with a plasma grenade while trying to headshot grunts that should have been asleep anyway.
Yep. Just happened. Right inside the Cartographer building. It arrogance that is sometimes letting me down "oh, i'll just get the headshot then duck behind cover" NO! -blam!- that, duck behind cover first, let the plasma grenade go off, THEN get the headshot. I really need to get this into my head.
Yea, I suppose arrogance and "over" confidence can be just as bad as apprehensive
and nervous gameplay.. After fail upon and fail, I just became numb to the pain of failure,
and that was the moment I found victory.. at least so far, Im just starting.. offline for the
majority of the contest.. though Ive ran the Ark twice offline a few months ago.
You should know though RC! Grunts dont care about skill or experience.
Those little punks find ways to stick that searing blue ball somewhere
unhappy no matter what! =P
The Ark is going down.. but, I must admit.. long level=nervous, especially @
the Plasma Turret, Hammer Chieftain/Pelican area, so close to victory is nerve
racking.
