All I have left to do is The Covenant, The Ark, and Crow's Nest and I will have completed my "quest for SLASO". Everything else is history.

I'm slightly confused. You have two games listed as Sierra 117 that had all skulls on. One was well over an hour. The other was 22 minutes or something.

Gamer Tag = ODST Panda
Feet first into heck!!!

The 22 minuite one I died in the second to last area, but I had all my weapons and stuff saved up for the final area, so I did the save and quit glitch and started at my last check point... then it took me 22 minuites to beat the last two areas. So that run dosent count cuz I died in it, but I tried it again from the begining and did it. I just wanted to practice the final area with all the weapons that I already had saved up. I still have the video of the hour long successfull run if you want to check the thing for deaths. You wont find any.

Yeah, I did the same thing on The Ark. It shows me completing it about 4 or 5 times, but I used the Save and Quit trick to practice the entire level until I finally did it in one go.

Here's the order of the levels I would do from easiest to hardest. This is also the order in which I will be releasing the walkthroughs.

1) Floodgate
2) Halo
3) The Storm
4) Cortana
5) Sierra 117
6) Tsavo Highway
7) The Covenant
8) Crow's Nest
9) The Ark

Thats probably the best order to do it in.

But I've currently done it in the order:
1) Floodgate
2) Halo
3) Cortana
4) Tsavo Highway
5) The Storm
6) Sierra 117

I found Tsavo Highway much easier than The Storm. Because in Tsavo Highway, you have the ability to skip a major fight. And the majority of fights you have to encounter, the Marines do it anyway. The only fighting you have to do yourself without Marines is the last half of the level.

And in The Storm. It was longer but the fights were easier. It was also possible to skip a Chieftan in this level aswell.

OMG! Its a great achievement but no one gives a hoot about your SLASO quest, you probably found enough money to buy a action replay and put invincibility on (if it exists) and tried to make it look real, seriously its time this thread died. //thread

Or ban you for intentionally trying to get this locked?

Hello, Community!

Hopefully if you're reading this, it's because you're interesting in kicking your campaign experience up a notch by cranking up the Legendary with all skulls activated :-) Need advice? A guide? Maybe even a friendly community to cheer you on and help guide you through the process? Then give our Mythic thread a read, and Godspeed on your Mythic journey!

Why don't you check out the vids of Tyrant, Vincent, Jew man man, Pahat Pojat or myself before you say that? SLASO is very difficult, but still doable, but only if you're patient, smart and skillful enough.

obviously that little 8 year old piece of crap is jealous of one of two things. either the feat you and the tyrant accomplished, or the fact that he's never had a popular thread. if something in here needs to die, it should be him.

So, I'm just about to cue "Quid Pro Quo" on Sierra 117 for my second time on SLASO. My first time I was under prepared as I didn't know I couldn't go back. This time, however, I brought with me...a grand total of five Plasma Pistols, two Beam Rifles, a Sniper Rifle, a Carbine, a Battle Rifle and just in case, a second BR so I have some spare ammo.

What do you guys mean when you say that you "bring weapons"? I guess the better questions is how do you do this?

Hey guys! Remember we meet at 5pm this afternoon!

I did a practice run on Sierra 117 last night and got through the last area on the first go. Plasma charging those carbine Brutes on the bridge from the ledge really does make all the difference in the world for that area. Just remember to stockpile!

I call it "juggling" where you constantly swap weapons with one on the ground as you're walking forward. That's how you stockpile. Another method is dual wielding plasma pistols, then dropping one in the desired location, and then going back for more.

I do it a lot towards the end of Sierra 117. Hopefully I'll have the video up by the end of the week and then you'll get to see it in action :-)

Tyrant, have you seen my Sierra 117 run yet? It shows an example of the weapon juggling at the end.
