I was accused of boosting my Brigadier today, now I know how Tyrant feels.
Also, I've been having some bad luck on The Storm, I just cleared the enemies before the Hunters, and suddenly I get hit by a box and die. Turns out a Marine knocked a box out of his way into mine.

Are you guys kidding? It's common knowledge that a General is NEVER allowed to lose, and he must win each game by at least 20 kills. And if there are any lower ranks on his team, it is ABSOLUTELY necessary that he score more kills than the lower rank. Every game. And as we all know, no General is allowed to use ANY other weapon but the BR and Sniper rifle, but if we use only those, then that's all we CAN use.

If any 50 doesn't abide by these rules, he obviously bought his account.

All true. Sad but true.

I'm still continuing my quest to beat the Covenant based levels without using a Plasma Pistol.

I forgot how often crap went awry on Tsavo Highway. I still haven't thought of a decent way to either destroy or steal the Wraith. Not that I have gotten to that part more than once without the Plasma Pistol.

I went off to do something after killing the first Chieftan and I paused the game. 3 seconds after I unpause it, my Warthog gets stuck by two Plasma Grenades.

Another time, I had just gone across the broken bridge with the Chopper, berserked the Brute...he uses a melee, and when I go to hit him, I melee but the hit doesn't register. Before I get a chance to back away, he spins and that kills me.

Crow's Nest I worked on a bit last night while I was tired. I made it up to the last wave of Covenant in the hanger, with just one Brute left. I was evading his shots to get closer and ended up jumping in to one that would have missed.

Edit: Well how about that. I'm an Honorable Member now. If only I could get my Heroic status back, I could be an Honorable Heroic Member.

So, final run last night...I get up to the Wraith Hill. I use a Beam Rifle to kill the gunner and try to kill the Wraith from a far with the Chopper. After I don't know how long, I get impatient.

I rush the hill, and climb up to the top only to find that the Wraith now has a new gunner.

New plan: Kill the gunner and get there faster before another Brute gets in it.

Edit: I'm back to the hill right now. Hopefully this time no surprise gunners appear.

The Monthly Mythic Challenge rules have been updated to include Mythic Conquerors and the requirements they must fulfill to "complete" the challenge.

The January Challenge will actually begin on December 26th and run through the 1st of January to allow people to take advantage of the holiday season.

I'm back at the hill for the second time today...a Marine just drove up to me in a Chopper and says: "Jump in."

Edit: That's not good! Even though I sniped the gunner, now a new one is in the Wraith. Looks like I'll have to either find a way to board it from the back or take out the gunner again.

Hey Vincent, I tried Halo last night and used just the hammer to reach Johnson.
Then things went awry when I found I'd used all my BR ammo so I let Johnson and the Arbiter kill all the Flood then I salvaged some ammo from the ground and tried to take Johnson's Laser, sadly I forgot to space out my betrayals and Arby made sure there wouldn't be a third. =(
Anyway that Hammer jump is easier than the grenade and Hammer jump, thanks for the tip.

No problem.

Looks like I get an endless supply of Warthogs to back me up at the hill. If they can help me clear out enough Choppers, I'm going to steal the Wraith on the ground by sneaking up on the hill to drop behind it while it is busy targeting the Warthog.

Yes, I remember the endlessly respawning warthogs from my Solo Legendary run and as for stealing a Wraith I'd say go for it because that kind of firepower would hopefully crush the Brute blockade up ahead (or at least thin their numbers to a manageable amount).

Jacking the Wraith is the safest bet. The best thing to do is once you have jacked it, head straight up to the Brute Blockade, because a second Wraith will appear behind you and attempt to take you down.

Also, Vince, I was able to take a Wraith down with out killing the Gunner at all or even use a Plasma Pistol. All you have to do, is circle around it and eventually get closer. Once you get within a certain distance, the Wraith will not shoot you.

The one where you deal with the three Wraiths. There are usally Choppers circling at the base of the hill. This leads to the Brute Blockade.

Oh, that hill! That reminds of when Kryptic and I did some Co-Op SLESO on Tsavo Highway. It was fun as hell, while I was taking care of the three Wraiths, Kryptic somehow managed to mess with like 10 Choppers on his own. I was looking back when I was looking for ammo, I saw him just driving around killing everybody. He got destroyed eventually though.

One of the marines is scripted to die. If it was 5, then it might be possible. And there are only 7 Marines in that level.

Fixed.

EDIT: It is actually possible to save all of the Marines. Obviously I won't count the last one if he kills himself. Only if the Flood do. And I have managed to save the Marine who usually gets infected before.

Also, aren't there additional Marines in the area with the Regenerator?

There are 4 in the death pit. And 3 in the area with the Regenerator. One in the Death Pit is scripted to die, as you enter the death pit, he becomes infected even if there are no flood spores around him. By the way, I just thought of the name "Death Pit" just now. It doesn't have a official name, so I will call it that for now. If you don't know what the Death Pit is, its the first area you encounter the Flood on Floodgate.

Only 6 to my knowledge. As one in the "Death Pit" dies. So that leaves 3 alive in the Death Pit, and 3 in the next area. The "Suicidal Marine" does not need saving. And he doesn't get attacked by anything. So he doesn't count.

Does that count the Marine that you usually witness getting infect? Or is that one of the three you are counting as being in the regen room?
