I was just at the Fanfest this year, like I said, I had the incredibly humbling chance of being able to play it. By the way, I'm just joking around with some of the wording in that last post.
Yeah, I am a part of 2070 Films. I make the actual films and the website.
This describes the feeling best - I completely agree after playing it:
"I think Max (Hoberman), our multiplayer design lead, said it best - we want to make you feel like you're becoming reacquainted with an old friend," said Pete Parsons, studio manager at Bungie, Halo's developer, "but that old friend's got a great haircut, a new set of clothes and a fat wad of cash in his pocket."
It feels like Halo 1 but it's so much better and that was just an early build. It's amazing.
