you guys really should pick them up. It kills Harry potter books hands down...

Just think of it this way... many people liked Ender's game. Now take ender, make him cooler, multiply the violence in the book by 7, add some wicked awesome space battles, make the plot about 6 times better, and get rid of the cheesy ending. Then you basically have Halo: The Fall of Reach. It is sooooooo good. I read it 6 times.

The Flood is a good book, but it isn't by Erik Nylund, and it kinda is not as good as FS or FoR. First Strike is kind of a spoiler, because the book reveals what happens in the beginning of Halo 2, up to the point where MC makes it back to a war-torn Earth. You pick up soooo much knowledge about Halo. Just do yourself a favor and buy them all. You might say "I played the Flood in Halo, so why read the book", because that book is what happens in Halo, but there is much more in that book. It actually gives you the perspective of different Covie races and even what it feels like to be the flood. good book. they are only $7 a book and take about a day to read one.

Thats what im talking about, i thought the books were farcking awsome. I havn't read them several times over, but they still beat the harry potter books if you ask me.

I agree to that, however, i noticed more spelling and editorial errors in eric nylunds

Erik Nylund did a great job, but I kind of wonder sometimes if the guy who wrote The Flood even read what Erik Nylund wrote in the FoR. William C. Dietz changed MC's entire attitude, not mention he took away some of MC's innocence, which was actually kind of cool. MC is less ...........different...... in the Flood than he is in FoR. Dietz then forced Nylund to change the MC though in FS, and he changed a great deal about MC that probably should have been left alone.

I agree, the MC was a different character in the FoR that he was the the Flood. He became almost more human i thought and less super human, at least in some aspects.
