Bungie has shown us the new lighting engine that they have place in Halo 2; it has also been said that the use of shadows will be put into gameplay when fighting enemies.

Do you think that Bungie will impliment a light meter like the one in Splinter Cell?

I personally think Bugie would be getting away from what made Halo great. That being of course the ability to storm into a room and kill everyone. I think the light meter would probably be relied on too much and would ruin the game.

Your thoughts?

I think you should be able to hid in the shadows but a light meter would make things too easy. Maybe they should include it in easy and normal mode ant take it out in the harder settings

That sounds stupid. Splinter cell is all stealth. Last time I played halo mc's name was john not sam fisher. Ur playing a war game not sneaking up behind a guy and knocking him unconcious.

Stealth is a factor in Halo once you get to Legendary and even Heroic. Plus you do sneak up behind people in Halo and a one melee will knock them out. I'm not saying that Bungie should make another Splinter Cell, I just want to see what others think of the capability of a light meter.

By the way thanks a lot for clearing that up, I really did think his name was Sam Fisher
