Cronin's Law----The New Flood Drinking Game

Have you noticed that there are a couple "groups" of games that feel similair? I have. I'm also really bored, so I'll tell you all about it! My system is color-based, just because the game "feels" that color. If you don't get what I mean, don't worry about it. It doesn't make sense to me either.

"Blue" games
>Usually dark, SciFi, and FPS.

>Charachterized by feeling modern and very very anchient at the same time

>Usually have a pretty good storyline

>Not very many of them at all

>Some examples are: Halo1, Warcraft III Northrend levels, Marathon Infinity, Starcraft, Icewind Dale

"Grey" Games
>Usually dark

>Can be SciFi or Semi-Modern

>Usually FPS

>Examples: Marathon, Splinter Cell, Doom Series (origional 2) Starcraft

"Gold" games
>Heavily laden with melancholy

>Light in cutscenes has a gold tint

>Almost always Mideval

>Almost always RPG/RTS

>Good plot

>Examples: Warcraft III (the expansion especially), Morrowind, Icewind Dale II, Halo2

"White" Games
>Any genre or subject

>Bright, Sunny

>Examples: Ghost Recon, Warcraft II, Age of Empires, Ghost Recon 2

"Black" Games
>Any genre or subject

>Dark, depressing

>Examples: Splinter Cell 2, DOOM 3, etc.

Is it just me, or does Halo2 feel extremely midaeval? Maybe it is playing as an elite with the whole crusader theme, or maybe it is all the sword combat. But all I know is that whatever it is, my my crappy rating system Halo gets a "blue" and Halo2 gets a "gold"... odd...
But I KNOW Halo2 feels just like Morrowind. If you don't believe me, first play morrowind and explore some dwemer ruins. Then tun the brightness down on your TV and play waterworks in explore mode using a sword as your weapon. It feels EXACTLY the same. If you don't boost or shoot and use covie vehicles only, even they feel like part of morrowind. Its crazy. But oh so cool.

Weird.

That's EXACTLY how I think games feel. Even colors and things. Odd.

Forgetting Myth is a heinous crime.

I don't have myth, nor have I played it enough to classify it.

From what I've played though, it looked like a "blue" game...

Like I said, the games given were just examples.
