Subject: Reflections of H2

First, I am re-downloading the H2 maps as I type. I've been playing H3 for a while but it's just not the same. I however have noticed a huge difference in the H3 and H2 communities...

Community

- H2 - always had more of a team feel in team slayer etc. For instance, Coagulation, whenever I played there, everyone had mics and the team was organizing Warthog strikes, working together to ambush the enemy tank, hiding in the caves when said ambush failed....

- H3 - seems like no one has a mic. Team matches are more like, I'll take the enemy flag while watching my teammates die. And the number of trash talkers seems to have significantly increased from h2.

Maps

- H2 - Terminal, Containment, Coagulation, Turf, Headlong. These are the best maps ever made in the Halo series imo. Always something new. Terminal had the monorail system which made it unique. Containment had the "trench" that I could hide in to jump to onto the bridge and ambush enemy vehicles.

- H3 - Maybe it's just me but these maps get old fast. Sandtrap and Valhalla were fun at first but gameplay became very much of the same thing over and over again.

Weapons

- H2 - When I played H2 I was horrible with the BR. On even Coagulation I would switch to the SMG asap. I couldn't kill anyone with a BR to save my life. I liked Br/SMG starts a lot better than the AR starts of H3 though. Overall H2 seemed like the weapons/placements were well thought out. And of course, dual wielding is one of my favorite things in Halo

- H3 - I hate BR and AR starts in H3. I just don't like any of those weapons for some reason. One thing I dislike about the weapons in H3 is the seeming lack of dual-wield-able weapons. Seems like no one dual wields anymore with the exception of Team Duals.

Thanks for reading :) Flames will be ignored

They removed the AR from the second game, and somehow magically a different variant of it is used in the third game? And we have the first game's pistol back, but it's dual-wieldable now and doesn't have a scope? The Needler is no longer dual-wieldable but now is inconsistently over powered and kills with just around five needles? The Rocket Launcher's homing feature disappeared? The Energy Sword is now depletable? That -blam!- doesn't fly with me. Bungie corrected the errors of the previous games with total disregard towards the canon's logic. Although I understand Bungie realized the mistakes they made with the previous games and tried to correct them in the third game, the amount of changes makes it more obvious how unsatisfied they were with their previous projects.

What he said...
They changed too much =/ Sure, Halo 2 had it's flaws...but many of the changes should have stayed on the campaign side. They didn't have to kill H2 Multiplayer =\
