I'm new to all this, but are multiple Halo CD's required to play over a LAN i.e one for each computer?

Legally speaking yes you need to have 1 cd per computer. But there are some ways around it. It's not exactly legal though : ).

*I AM NOT RECCOMENDING YOU DO THIS* but you can at your own will. You can spin off a copy of Halo PC and use it as long as you destroy it within 24 hours of making. Oh yeah you CANNOT sell it either. I believe that is legal.

Ok, here's what I do. When my brother and I want to play Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt together, we put the CD in one comp, then after that loads up take it out and put it in the other comp. I'm sure that'll work for Halopc.

Actually the easist way would be to install one copy on one pc. Get a no-cd modification for it. Which makes it so you do not need the cd to play. Then do the same on the other pc.
