I read somewhere that you can run Halo 2 Vista WITHOUT installing it to your Hard Drive, like streaming the game off the DVD, is this true?

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

You can run it off the DVD while you are installing it, but I don't believe you can run it without installing any of it. That's because you have to activate the CD Key with MS.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

I seem to recall people having later trouble with "tray and play". EG the game won't run from hard disk later, etc. Do yourself a favor and select install instead.

Yes, I would advise install first, play later.

I have no problem with tray & play, but my copy is an early copy from Circuit City.

That's the neat thing about H2V. You never know what you're gonna get. A working tray and play and maybe even a working CD key!

Although the concept is convenient, in actuality it is unnecessary and flawed. If you don't know how to install a game, you shouldn't be playing PC games anyway.

You probably do, but I wasn't referring to you. The whole Tray-and-Play concept is based off the fact that "numerous potential PC gamers" (not quoting anyone) are turned away because installing a game seems to be the greatest hassle in the universe.

if i remember, this game takes forever to install, but it is worth it.
