Probably could use both strategies of getting return Halonians (PC & Console) to enjoy future releases of Halo such as Halo 3 and Halo 4 etc. But I agree with another message that I have seen in the forums which stated that we should get more players from other computer gaming (console & PC). Personally I think converting Nintendo/Sega players would be the best converts since Xbox and Nintendo seem to be competitors. Someone should look at the total number of computers purchassed every year versus how many of these purchasses include PC games and what percentage of those games are HALO.... I would bet there is much room for improvement. Some of us just need to play less pool or golf and get back on the old tried and true PC games. Exercise can be obtained more rapidly through workout clubs or throwing on a pair of running shoes anyways. Many people are actually out skiing and snowmobiling in my neck of the woods and could be playing Halo. ( apres ski or laptops on snowmobiles... hmmm doubtful).

<<This reminds me of the arguments between Commodore 64, Magnavox Odyssey, Atari, Did RCA have a good one too ?? cant remember. and Basic PC games back in "1985" as the new song suggests by Bowling for Soup. ( Ha!). We all know who won that argument.... No one. That was pre-Microsoft. >>

One major area of potential converts is POGO.com.... Which is what the site was built for anyways is to see how many people are willing to sit down at length with their computers.

Now I saw a statistic that says that there are 450,000 unique names visiting Halo 2 Online in One day and as much as 35,000 people on at any given time. Sounds impressive till you check the stats on POGO.COM. There are 250 to 400 k users at any given time and probably over 2 million in any given day. ( Possibly as much as 10 Million). Free games rock I guess. Great place for Halonians to get converts in the form of advertising. EA Games should be expecting this kind of conversion advertising since we prepared them for it.

Some ideas for Bungie/Gearbox/Microsoft to explore. They know them already but may have not "gone there" yet. Its worth getting behind this game unless anyone knows of other games to promote more. I am not a believer that Half-Life, DOOM, and Grand Theft Auto are truly better options for multiplayer which to me is the wave of the future. One is too spooky and strange, Doom is just weird, and GTA is a juvenile and criminal concept

Additional comments will be appreciated in this forum .. Thanx Halonian gamers. and even campers too.

So you want more PC game players or what? Most people don't know how to build a computer nor have the money to purchase one from Dell, Gateway, HP etc. Also, a lot of people who don't know how to install simple parts (vid cards, RAM, other PCI stuff) so they have to pay $200 dollars for the part and another $90+ on getting it put in.

Obesity is mostly about lack of exercise in my experience anyways. WIth exercise you eat less and process what you do eat more rapidly. So buy an IPOD and get out there. And when your not out there play Halo in here.

After all I am a Boston Red Sox Fan AND a New England Patriots fan. Very easy to see why I am into these sports lately. Playing them is always funner but they are team sports and I am past that beyond 30 in age.

Your in this forum and most likely a Halo player so no need to convert you. I am content with Halo for the PC and Halo CE and until they stop producing new material for these two I wont be converting to Xbox anytime shortly I believe. Would like to try it on a great video/sound system home theater, large screen HD.. You know the works.. Has anyone tried that ??

More PC gamers yes. I have got the perfect idiot proof solution. Buy either a desktop or laptop system that meets requirements and shove the Halo 1 CD in your player and install it. How tuff is that ? I have had my laptop since 1991 and have not needed any service for it at all. Before that I had a computer since 1992 and it required no service. I am a HP/ Compaq person up to now but do not see any disadvantage to DELL either. ( Now possibly an advantage actually). Hey if people want to cheap it out on the hardware and than pay for service afterwards that is another way to go about it. More unfriendly visits to your neighborhood PC techy that way though. ( I mean when the system breaks its always at the worst time ). The only problems that I needed some advice for lately was Spyware, Adblocking and a virus that ate my partition. System recovery discs were needed for that one and yes i did lose data. Damned viruses. Highly recommend the External Hard Drives to those users with lots of valuable data. They should make them bootable but havent thus far as far as I know. (security issues with that).
