When one of my former freinds was over he stole my halo cd. The moron was to stupid to even steal the cd sleve with the cd key on it. My question is how do I get this thing replaced with out spending money. This game isn't worth buying twice I can get a real good game for 80 bucks. Since I have an x box I could get halo 2 for less than 80 the most I am ever wiling to spend on a game is 50 bucks. Is there anywhere on the support site to download the whole game if I show proof of purchase. I'm very upset about this I see that guy who stole it from me again I might just kick his ass. Now I'm stuck to play the demo for this game. Does anyone know any site where i can dowload the whole game for free. After all it's not stealing if you have already paid for it. If not does anyone need there cd key repalced as I now have a spare key I don't need. Then at least it being stole from me would not be a complete waste.

Hey, do you think that a forum is the right place to ask this? Occasionally, bungie people browse through, but not often. Maybe youre better off going to someone from bungie.

Theyll provide a helluva lot more useful, and more accurate info than we forum-nerds will ever give you.

Heres a link on bungie.net that might help...

As for the a$$h)13 who stole it, keep in mind that for every 7 cool people you meet, there is always one idiot

hey i got a good idea!
buy the game for the 15 bucks it's worth.
who the heck is selling it for 80 bucks? if noone in your area is selling if for less than $20, buy it online, don't get ripped off.
-edited for stupidity-

and smurf, your idea won't work. don't even bother trying

wow, that "friend" of yours is really, really stupid. break his nose for me if you see him. basically i think your screwed and you will have to buy another. you could try ebay but thats a bit of a risk. if you do choose ebay, make sure the seller has good feedback and has sold many things (not just like 6 items, like 300 minimum)
Good Luck!

Heyyo,

Since you have proof of purchase, try going to the store you bought it from, and see... nvmd, that probably won't work... They'd probably ask for the previous cd in order to change cds..

Well, try going to micro$oft techsupport. They handle all the techsupport for HaloPC, just give them your product ID (install HaloCustomEedition (HaloCE) with your cd key, and it'll give you a set of numbers known as the productID (PID)).
