I don't know what the hell is going on. I put in Halo 2 today to play with a friend and Lockout wouldn't load! It said, "Map failed to load." Then later I signed into Xbox Live through the Dashboard, put in Halo 2, and logged in to Xbox Live once again using my usual profile. The game said I needed an update, downloaded something, then I was getting a "File you downloaded is corrupt" message. Googled around, no help, so I just deleted all the Halo 2 stuff off my hard drive, pulled out the Bonus Mappack disc, re-applied the update and re-added the new maps. Signed in at Dashboard again, went into Halo 2, did the update again, and this time no error, but now Halo 2 tells me that I have network issues when clearly I'm online :/ Anyhow I'm also missing the two newest maps, but there isn't any Halo 2 directory on Xbox Live anymore - at least none that I can see :/ Can someone tell me what the hell is going on here, and what the hell do I do to get the new maps? There shouldn't be this many issues with Halo 2. I mean Microsoft and Bungie have had the emulation code up and running for how many years? Who's working on this, a team of monkeys?
Sorry about the rant - little pissed off. Appreciate any help -
