Also, from within the 2004 Multiplayer Demo you hear a new distinction. The rocket launcher as we know it is now called, "The Infantry Rocket Launcher". Why make this differetiation unless there were another type of Rocket Launcher available?

I agree, it looks cool though but I don´t think thats real but if it was real I would prefer only having 1 rocket launcher in the game

As I said before, thought not proof in itself, within the 2004 Multiplayer Demo you hear a new distinction. The rocket launcher as we know it is now called, "The Infantry Rocket Launcher" instead of just the plain Rocket Launcher from before.

Why would they bother going that extra length, noting that it's meant to be used against infantry if there wasn't one intended for another purpose... most likely Anti-Air.

I think the second link is just a concept drawing, but the rocket launcher in Halo had 2 barrels

The second is an artistic piece done for a magazine cover. As I recall, it's Eric Smith's work.

It's not a new RL. It's just artistic license on the existing model.

*grins* I note Shiska that you're not saying that there *isn't* a new rocket launcher just that particular one isn't a new rocket launcher.

*bows* Your non-committal answers are excellently phrased. I salute thee good sir!
