And you wonder why I called you a troll?
I'm done - I tried to be amneable to a cease fire and you just tried to start the argument again, I and quite possibly everyone else here can see who is the bigger person, and who likes to start trouble. Good Day to you sir - I refuse to respond to this post any further.

Thanks to the guys who understand the issues within the forums, and I'd like to inform those "tough guys" that blasting people for their opinions make you look foolish, not the person you attack.

Fine. Now you get to listen to my rant about you.

You should be careful about the same thing (looking foolish, acting like a jerk), because based on your responses to some of the perfectly legitimate responses to your thread, you can be seen as a hot headed -blam!-. Especially the part where you accuse the moderators of hiding. That's a cheap shot, and what's worse is that you know it is a lie. Discussing an important issue is fine, but it seems many of you (now I'm talking to most of you, not just gutterhead) cannot seem to avoid making it personal.

The idea that nothing is ever going to change is false... there was a very good reason that we released the new hotness back in April, months before Halo 2: we needed time for the system to evolve to fit the community. I submit that the only real problem we have right now is that blacklisting isn't strong enough. Our moderators are all over the jerks and their -blam!- posts, but they can't blacklist without our intervention. That will change. The other problem with blacklisting is that some users go out of their way to create lots of accounts to "wipe the slate clean" so to speak. Those users are in for a very rude awakening thanks to a few changes in the pipe that I'm not going to talk about right now.

The point of that? There are some very smart people working on the problem, and we take the issue very seriously. You are NOT helping by lumping the moderators (and by extension, the Bungie admins who appointed them) into the group of people you referred to as "tough guys hiding behind their IPs". Your topic about griefers in Halo 2 is good and should be discussed, but you guys need to stop making your arguments personal. All that does is get your thread locked because it becomes a flame war.
