I can't believe this sorry thread is still alive.

-The assault rifle is useless and takes 1/2 hour to reload
-The ghost handles like -blam!-
-You can't aim and drive at the same time with the tank (how retarded is that)
-It takes 150 bullets to kill an elite
-The pistol has that stupid flip toss animation after each melee
-There are like 75 hunters on each level
-You can't even freaking change your controller settings in mid game...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
-Turrets and vehicle weapons have HORRIBLE aim.
-and the list goes on for miles
The pistol has zoom! Were the Bungie developers drunk when they made this game?
-Firstly, the assault rifle is not useless. It can kill people faster than the Halo 3 assault rifle can. In fact, in multiplayer, it takes about 1 second of firing, and a melee to finish them off.
- The ghost in Halo: CE could easily outmaneuver the ghost in Halo 3. All you have to do is shoot your enemies to stun them, and drive over them. There is no boost, because it doesn't need a boost. Also, I assume you didn't know this, but if you press the A button, the nose of your ghost will go up, and prevent you from doing a front flip. Please learn how to play the game correctly before you criticize it.
-The tank had a simple new feature in Halo 2. If you didn't notice, the tank kicks enough ass without that feature. If that feature were available in Halo: CE, the tank would be unbeatable; the best way to take out a tank man is to snipe him. The tank is fine the way it is.
-Actually, it only takes about 25 shots from the plasma pistol to kill an elite, even on legendary. One of the most basic pieces of knowledge that all halo players should know is that the covenant are weak against their own technology, and resistant to human weapons. It's less obvious in Halo 3, though.
-The first-person animations in Halo 3 are dull. The animations in Halo: CE are much more convincing. The pistol flip is the greatest animation ever!
-I wish there were 75 hunters in each level; they die in one shot to the back with the pistol.
-If you've player ANY of the other Halo games, you shouldn't need to change your settings mid-game. Bungie didn't put any of the unnecessary luxuries like that in the game because it was rushed by Microsoft.
-That's not true. Still, if this is getting to you, you must fail hard; the only way to take out a half-decent gunner is with a rocket, a tank, a grenade, or a sniper.
-I'm not sure why you're complaining about the best weapon in the history of Halo.
I'd like to hear more of this list of yours. It really is quite pitiful.
