Alright guys, I'm a noob to the HALO 2 forums, but I had a question I wanted to ask you guys. A couple of weeks ago a good friend of mine went to go pre-order his copy of HALO 2 from Game Crazy. The dude behind the counter said that he should get the Limited Edition because he heard from some gamers website (I don't know which one, and have been unable to find a site saying this) that the LE had extra gameplay material, such as more multiplayer levels, etc. Bungie has said that the LE contains extra material, like deleted characters and stuff, but I haven't heard (and maybe its because I'm new) anything about extra levels. I've had my regular (non LE) copy of HALO 2 pre-ordered for over a year now, but if the LE really does have more levels, that's the one I want!! Can anyone help? If you guys know of any info like this, could you provide links so I can see it for myself?

Thanks!!

It doesn't contain ANYnew gameplay, the game discs are identical to the normal edition ones. However, there is a special DVD in there which contains movies etc. which contain the above features you mentioned.

SB-117

No if you read the back of the prototype case you'd know that its just movies and art etc.

All it has is interviews and other stuff like behind the scenes content and everything important like that.

A crock of bull. Bungie's not released any such information.

So far all we know is that the LE version comes with an additional DVD featuring "making of" and other interesting tidbits.

You'll get a groovy brand-spanking new silver case with a DVD to go along with that holy relic that we'd like to refer to as the game disc itself. Other than that, it's going to be just like the regular copy. If you search the news archive, you'll find a preview of what the case'll look like. :-)

Sweet! Just wanted to make sure. I didn't want to cancel my other order, because I llike the original box art that they got. (They got a pic of it on the Best Buy.com Halo 2 Product Page , although I don't know if it's confirmed or not.) Oh what the hell, I just may buy both! Then keep the LE in its original case....for future use...maybe....

You want that edition any way. Believe me.
It's only $5 more.
