Anyone here use Linux that wants to answer me these questions three?

1. what advantages does linux have over windows?

2. how reliable is a linux OS?

3. if Todd was a goat, and the goat had 5 hands, would there be cheese?

A guy I work with is a huge Linux guy - But he just left, like 5 minutes ago. Tomorrow I can ask him, though.

#1 Linux is safer, and more flexible, less dependant on certain "Bundled" software. It's Open Source, which means that the OS is free, good for large workgroups, and most of the software is very secure...

#2 Well, it's safe. But, under Linux there aren't many ways to get games, familiar and popular programs, formats, etc. Sometimes, you'll need Windows to get certain things done, however rarely.

#3 Not unless you want milk from a male goat...

Not at the moment. I'm changing from Red Hat to Debian, and I plan to get a new computer soon.

If you want to check out linux go this site http://slax.linux-live.org/
There you can download Slax Linux and burn the ISO to a cd-r, then leave it in your cd-rom drive and restart your computer, it should just boot right into linux.
If you have an older computer you might have to go into you bios and tell it to check the cd-rom drive before it boots Windows off your hard drive. It's pretty cool if you want to check out Linux but don't want to have to partition your hard drive to dual boot, or make just a Linux box.

I would probably use Linux on my PC if I didn't only use it for games...

I like Linux because penguins are my favorite type of flightless bird who hunt fish and go real fast under water.

Incase you don't get it... I don't know a wank about Linux.
