I love the whole idea of the double experience weekends, its a good way of ppl to check halo 3 out and see what is going on, and last week was my fav, legendary brawl, in my opinion that was great and should be made and put on in with like team swat and mlg, i would play that all the time so legendary brawl has my vote to become a permanent map, thanks for listening bungie, hooah!

Replace the Prowler with the Spectre (if possible), just give it a little more cover. Bring back either Chill Out or Damnation please.

hey what i think would be the best is every week there would be some sort of competition like funniest suicides, or coolest pictures, or even most screwed up clip of the week. Also to go along with this they should have a special reward like expirience, microsoft points, or even possibly (im not asking for it ) recon armor if it is superly good. oh and please if my idea is used can i please get credit for it and maybe a reward for helping.

I would like to see a little more consistency. I notice that sometimes with each and every weapon there isn't a whole lot of consistency as if you did the same thing last time. But if I lay 3 clicks of BR into a person and beat them down and they die, it should technically happen the same way next time. But instead, it takes 3 clicks and 2 beat downs to kill them. I know there may be thousands of variables and different math equations, and internet connections that go into making a game, but I would like to know why the game isn't consistent with they way you kill people. Also the fact that you can do this same move all the bullets hitting the target, and at the same time someone can come up with the AR and pull for half a second and beat you down and kill you while you don't kill them.

I know in a previous article you disscused how the BR causes 6 hit points and that the AR causes 7, but even still it's a little crazy that you can kill someone so fast compared to the more accurate weapon. ( And yes, I know that the AR/BR debate will never end, but its frustrating for us tried and true Halo players that get killed so easily after trying to take out someone. P.S. I hate spray and pray weapons.)

Also I would like to see less of Snowbound and Isolation.

More diversity of gametypes per map. I feel that everytime I play a certain hopper, I get the same gametype on the same map, but never the same gametype on a different map. This is very frustrating. I would also like to see more map variety in general. It seems like certain maps only get played certain days, or at least some maps are way more frequent than others depending on the day. Ex. I always play slayer BRs on Construct but rarely ever get the AR start Gametype. This holds true for several of the playlists. I also think everyone has had about enough of the Covies variant. I think it would have been bettter also if it had carbine starts instead of BRs, kinda defeats teh purpose.

There should be more smaller maps in big team battle including : Epitaph, Guardian, Blackout, and Ghost Town.

All single weapon gametypes such as swords or hammerzeit need to have their frequency reduced. This goes in line with the gametype updates. When I played legendary hopper when it came out, I was excited to get blackout, but not excited that the few times I played it, they were all team rockets gametypes. This type of thing happens to me alot in matchmaking and I assume it happens to a lot of others. so in short, I agree there should be less hoppers, but a greater amount of variety and depth to the hoppers. There could be halo 2 gametypes were you spawn with smg and no AR, and AR's are weapons on the map. Or pistols no shields no nades no BRs, several invisibilities.

a playlist featuring fan made maps. i RECOGNIze the difficulty in this since they have to be tested for quality but nevertheless.

The veto system should not be just X for changing the map and game type. If there is a good map that everyone wants to play but a bad game type they'll all veto. If the system was X to veto game type and Y to veto the map that would work much better.

Films should have a skip forward option or a faster fast forwarding.

Snipers should be it's own category and be removed from the slayer playlist.

REMOVE AUTO-AIM COMPLETELY!

Lowering weapons on Live should be available.

Possibly remove push to talk. People who chatter too much get muted anyway.

Make the voice options be ALL, Team and seperate one for Party.

Fix the spawning system. It's way to easy to spawn kill people. Maybe a 2 second invulnerability.

Bring back the Beta tripmine. The current one is too weak and never kills anything and doesn't stick to vehicles.

The system should drop any player that lags heavy. If their connection sustains low connectivity for a certain duration they should be dropped from the game. These people ruin the games for everyone.

Ranking system should be changed. Win you go up lose you go down. Most of the people at high ranks are boosters anyway this would give more people a chance to make higher ranks. Or maybe Handicapping. Why should I lose rank because my random teammate quit?

Players medals should be viewable when looking at their 360 Service Record like it is on Bungie.net.

When looking at someones profile for Halo 3 it should not just say "Highest Skill: ??" is should show their skill levels in each ranked game type.

More Gause Hogs, Scorpions and Prowlers on Big Team Maps like Avalanche and Sand Trap.

Release Halo 3 versions of all HALO and HALO 2 maps. Things like Blackout and Avalanche are great but I Still want to play Chill Out, Prisoner, Damnation, Derelict, things like that.

Bring in all the weapons. Where's the fuel rod gun and incendiary grenades?

Allow the campaign to be played as your custom character. Everyone wants this. Four Spartan assault? Sure why not.

Infection is unfair to people who spawn three rounds in a row as infected their maximum score is 30 for the 3 rounds as opposed to spawning as a human where there is no score limit. If you make Infection 12 players with 4 being infected at the start of each of the 3 rounds and each round spawning a different 4 players as infected it would be leveled.

MVP for Slayer should be the player with the best K/D spree.

Save film option from post game lobby like in Beta. Leaving matchmaking to go to the theater to save a film is a pain.

In Forge all items should be available on all maps. I want a tank on Guardian! This would help people to make better videos. Also weather effects would be nice.

A bot system for the multiplayer maps. 6 players taking on an endless wave of Covenant from the beach of High Ground or Last Resort would be epic. A combination of multiplayer and campaign or something like downloadable scenarios that wouldn't infringe on the campaign story arc.

Boot player should be an option after their first betrayal. It's not an accident when they kill you for getting to the sniper rifle first.

A Social Forge would be great. All the players can come and go there's no time limit or kill count. Players have extra health and shields and can just play around with the maps.

honestly the weapons equipement and spawns are okay not perfectg but definetly workable and aren't the main problem the main problem with halo 3's current loss of players is the lack of new goals and ladder rungs to climb most of my friends beat the campaign, got either all the acheivement or most of them they got the skulls and they got a decent highest level what I think would really bring players in are more unlockable armor(not recon) something more akin to the security helmet and katana perhaps a special helmet for general? or maybe you can get a helmet for getting a perfection or untouchable or a helmet for sny other point of distinction and skill to revive players who have mostly conquered the games readily available the lack of new hekmets and armor is causing the massive outcry for recon its the last benchmark that most players have yet to receive.

Yeah the leveling issue and the colors... I'm kinda tired of playing with LIGHT blue and LIGHT red all the time, adding a few darker colors would be nice like dark green or navy blue

I'd like to see more forging options such as weather effects, I'd also like to see custom game hopper that change maps and gametype once every few weeks (for choosing you could have a contest or something), and finally I'd like guests to be able to use a mic because my friend plays alot and usually he plays as my guest and I find it irritating that he can't really communicate to the rest of the team.

Yeah i agree, I stopped playing and have been playing cod4 recently because it has more customization to offer and doesn't have all these light colors and has less under-aged gamers

I think the frag nades need too be turned up just a little bit, introduce gauss hogs into matchmaking, turn up trip mines, make smgs more powerful but bring back recoil and thats it.

Will is everything.

I think two major points for me going on in the future would be to address the number of playlists and the gametypes:

1) There are too many lists to jump into, and I think it fragments the playing population too much. Why not just have there be Ranked, Social, and Double EXP. It's easier to comprehend than Ranked, Social, Community, Hardcore, Double EXP. As someone in the blog mentioned, it would funnel the populations to a healthy level. Matchmaking would be faster and smoother I'd assume. It would also be easier to understand what playlist options you'd need to go into for what.

2) We really need to see some variations in gametypes, weapons, and vehicle load-outs. In Ranked Big Team I swear it's always Slayer, Multi-Flag, Covies. Rinse and repeat. Starting weapons are fine, but it would be great to see even more variations in weaponry on the maps. For the love of all things Bungie, where has Territories gone? One flag? Multi-bomb? Could we possibly see a flame bomb anywhere? Slap 'em in the tumbler, shake, and pour for your satisfaction.

All this being said I still fall back to Halo. There needs to be some house cleaning and additions. But, overall, it's still an enjoyable experience.

Personally, I would like:
-More and different weapon starts (i.e. start with Carbine, Fuel Rod)
-Incorporate Fuel Rod into MM
-Social Snipers
-Social Griffball
-Social SWAT (to be able to play with friends)
-Upgrades to Forge (i.e., be able to put filters, and other new map things from Heroic and Legendary DLC, into ALL maps
-More armor perms (won't happen)
-Change ranking system. There needs to be an end to playing 16 games, going up one Skill level, then losing one game, and going back down.
-Something to stop the amount of quitters in the game
-A way to establish stronger and better internet connections between players
-Faster MM

You guys should really fix the skilling up system.I mean ther were few times where i won over 3 games in a row, was MVP for all of them and still didn't skill up.Also I think that yes you guys should put the flares and radar jammers.

This isn't really improving anything on Halo 3 but on the Community/Player Creation Aspect. I would like to see a special section that allows us to upload our own created Halo memorabilia. I have many cool pictures that I have photoshopped and would like to share with with world but I cannot post my site because numerous times I have gotten my thread deleted.

I love chips!

I was sad I didnt get to play as Arby in the single player. I would also like to see more King of the Hill gametypes. Also maybe extend the weekend playlists for a bit longer. Stop repeating the same ones as well :(

Also is the Halo 2 territories gametype still around? I liked it where there 3 flags which could be captured several times and the score ended at 250 or so. It was epic on Turf.

I would like to see a Ranked Team Snipers playlist, and some of the spawns need to be fixed... Also, make it so you dont have to veto the map and gametype, just one or the other. Lastly, make it so that you can skip to a specific time in a film.

FIx the BR spread. Melee damage reduced slightly. Add a warm up hopper. Get rid of power weapons/equipment in Head to Head. Fix quitting some how, if one person on a team quits the other three should not rank down. 3 on 4 is not fair. Thats all I have to complain about really.

He said to use Tucker's imagination, but I didn't have his, I only had mine. So I used my imagination to pretend like I had Tucker's, and look what I came up with!

I have a couple things I'd like to see:
1. Flame Grenades and/or Gauss Hogs in matchmaking.
3. More Scorpion Tanks in matchmaking.
3. Continued Map Development and releases. (Damnation would be ideal. I'm imagining amazing forge possibilities with the sandbox of Heroic/Legendary items in the the big open spaces.)
4. Make social slayer 5v5 again.
5. Put more wacky forged maps into matchmaking.
6. Put all the equipment back into matchmaking. (The above mentioned wacky forge maps would work well for that.)
7. Easier way to lower gun and/or lower gun on Xbox live.
