No, fragmentation grenades have a 7 second timer and should follow that sequence.

7 seconds, I'm pretty sure they have a 2 second fuse.

I think it is 7 seconds because in a book I read (fiction), these characters didn't know what a grenade was, and exploded them for fun. One of them said they counted 7 seconds from when they pulled out the pin to the explosion.

In HALO, once the frag grenade settles on the ground it explodes after 2 seconds, or with the plasma grenades, 3 seconds.

I'm saying they could make it more realistic and make a 7 sec. explosion time, except you could hold the grenade for more power and to use up time.

I say 5 sec timers so they can explode on impact. Maybe even include a hold down feature whare you held the L trigger and it would click and then you could time your explosions

what if an enemy goes too close to the chief and the blast damages you as well? i liked the throw 'nade, 'nade clip wall and come back, chief run like mad scenario.

No impact detonation. And as for the frags in Halo, they didnt have a 2 second fuse. They flew until they settled in a spot, then exploded within 2 seconds. And I think the Plasmas had a longer fuse than 3 seconds, sure seemed that way

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

Plasma grenades have a three second timer, I think frags have one to two seconds before detonation. No impact detonation, it would be too easy to score kills.

Just make a 5 second timer and like in call of duty and allow grenade cooking. Make it so it can explode mid air too
